I love this! I am still slightly fumed about last game and now I have to start thinking about this one. The "to do list" for the game: (1) Win (2) No one get injured. -
Yeah. They have Luongo, but as good as he is, he can't score goals for them.

Well as evidenced by your quote about Hasek injuring someone in a in-line hockey game, it is obvious that Hasek is capable of hurting someone. So believe me, if Hasek wanted to hit Igninla, he would have. But he knows that this is too big of a series to be taking major penalties like mcullen did.

That's kind of old news. What Hasek did was obviously wrong, but I don't get the point of bringing this up in comparison with this game.

Cleary is da man. He has definitely been one of our best players this series. And plus, he bascially has owns Phaenuf this series. Ditto

It's always hard to answer "what if" questions. But I can honestly say that I would never defend a blatent and intentional cheap shot like that. There is simply no place in hockey for a guy or play like that.

LMAO I can't believe that people are saying that that hit by ledba was dirty. Do you know how many times I have seen other players do that (i.e. Blake)? It is a common hit in the game. But, looking from your prospective, if you think the hit was dirty, than what Langkow did was 100x worse, because he blatently and intenetionally went to hurt someone... to be honest, I can't even believe we are talking about Lebda's "dirtyness", after all of the cheap shots Calgary took today. -
I am just disappointed that such a well played game by the Wings was overshadowed by cheap shots and goons.

Interesting. I am confused by his injury, because when he left the ice, he was putting zero pressure on his leg... Anyways, I hope that he is okay.

The thing that I notice most was just how bad Phaneuf has been playing in this series. Cleary pretty much owns him. Pavel nailed him. And Bert just plain embarassed him.

Hey everyone! Just got back from the game. I can honestly say that I have never been so disgusting by a team as I was Calgary in the last 5 minutes. IMO, there should be multiple suspensions... that said, I thought Zetterberg, Cleary, and Chelios played awesome today!! Does anyone know what happened to Lebda? And what actually happened to Cleary in the second? I saw him laying face down, but no one near me knew what happened. Thanks!

It is okay to be frustrated, but all that total doomsday, negativity is killing me. This series is far from over with. -
I get frustrated and express my opinions about the team, because that is what these forums are for. But some people take it way too far. I will never say they are finished, like some people who, are declaring the Wings done, even though the series is tied. I know that everything I say stems from frustration, not hating. Because I love the Wings, not matter what.

LMAO... I don't understand how he didn't get credit for a hit. I think it was Redmond who said that Cleary should have gotten credited for two hits for that one.

To look on the optimistic side. When we played Nashville in 04' we were up 2 game to none and lost both games there. Then came back home and won; then won there. I am saying wings in six.

Alrighty. I think everyone needs to take deep breath. I know it seems hopeless now. But this series is far from over. The Wings won two in a row before, they can do it again. They are a good team, despite what we have all witnessed lately. I think they are all going to be pissed off and wanting to put on a good show for the fans at the Joe. Just my two cents.
