Well, that was a pretty boring period. Hasek played well, though. You know the wings when they have to start early- it takes them a period to get going.

Nice GDT, as usual!!! I think the Wings will be pissed about last game, taking it out on Columbus, winning 5-1 (Cleary, Lang, Schneider, Bertuzzi, Chelios)-(Nash), even with Lidstrom out.

I'm not sure who is in net, but I am pretty sure the Wings play tomorrow at 12:30 verse the Blue jackets.

I know it said a team for the U.S. and a team from Canada., but if I had to pick, I would say Florida (because Florida doesn't need two hockey teams) and Phoenix. I couldn't choose any Canadian teams.

This whole game was kind of ironic to me. Usually it is the wings who usually play one good period and end up winning because of a strong third. This time, they play two strong periods and one bad, and lose. How does that work out?

Good point. I think and have always thought that even though SO are entertaining, they are a joke. They display individual skill, rather than team skill (which is what the game of hockey is about). That is why they don't have shootouts in the playoffs.
