Commodore was shipped out because we have no need for him here. He's not gonna play. He slipped too far down the depth chart. Picking up Quincey is a big deal overall. There`s no point giving up the farm when there`s some good pending FA out there and Wings have some money to spend. Let all the complaining start from all the fair weather fans. LOL, everyones already predicting a second round exist. Nice. Way to have some faith. -

I would take Ryan Jones over Abdelkader any day of the week. He puts more pucks in the back of the net. A great PK guy. He even beat his ass the other week in a fight.

I couldn't agree more. The Stanley Cup is all that matters. Everyone should be happy that the Wings were able to pull off 23 in a row. That in itself is remarkable. Be proud Wings fans. The streak had to end at some point and even with it ending the still managed to get a point. Was it a tough loss? Yes, but losses like that happen. Move on. Colorado's up next, and were still first in the West. GO WINGS!!!

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie Todd Bertuzzi's two-year (over 35) extension with DET is $1.975M in Year 1 and a 200K siging bonus payable July 1st $2.175M in Year 2 for an AAV of $2.075M. Also includes a NTC.
