I think they will reach the conference semifinals. Their play is explosive and their team isnt lacking of playoff experience with recchi and gonchar on the team. Combined with the young talent of Crosby (leader in points), Malkin (most goals for a rookie), and Staal, who leads the nhl in shorthanded goals...i think their play is explosive and unique. I see them taking this show to the playoffs with real desire to re-establish themselves as the pens of old. As far as fleury goes, i think thibault is slowly earning the start for them, hes been phenomenal recently.

my post wasnt intended to start another we can/cannot go into playoffs without Z, it was more to exemplify the awesome teamwork that this team has built, especially among these two great players. edit: if anyone does know the song in the background when the guy says my oh my that would be awesome

i honestly think the team playing the more boring hockey in the east has to be New Jersey. All they do is put 1 or 2 in the net and let broduer save them by saving a rainstorm of pucks. Most explosive its pittsburgh...they are incredibly fun to watch
