Read my post, i actually mention that the pile on moore doesnt help his situation which indeed many people overlook. tino, then stop watching hockey, because to be honest there are tons of hits that are much worse than this, peoples heads into boards, backs into benches, head into ice, that could turn out way worse than this but it just happened that moore fell awkwardly and it ended his carrer. Open your eyes and actually provide an argument before you just state youre disgusted like every other bandwagon hockey fan accusing bert of being a criminal without actually providing an argument as to how, while watching the hit, its bert's fault, and that it is COMPLETELY out of the norm compared to any other hockey hit. I completely and utterly disagree, you cant pick and choose to mould the rules to your liking. There have been hits way worse than this, retaliatory hits even that have been worse. If you would so be inclined to watch the video, ill even provide you with a link, you will see that yes, bert grabs his jersey, chaces him around and hits him with a suckerpunch, then pushes him down, but how many time has this been done. So because moore falls awkwardly, bert is punished severely and serves it without question or argument. Hockey is a rough sport, injuries occur, accidents occur, if youre going to use the argument of bert not being able to retaliate in a hit, remove hitting from hockey alltogether because its bound to cause another horrible injury. Here's the video for the lazy people who dont wanna look it up and assume bert's hit was an attrocious act of homicidal idiocy: Bertuzzi Hit Watch closely as bertuzzi suckerpunched him, then grabs him to throw him down BUT his hands are on his back nowhere near his head, and the head goes first into the ice. IN NO WAY did bertuzzi force the head down into the ice, it was an illegal cheapshot hit, but in no way does bertuzzi want to paralyze him, thats idiotic. The pile that ensues probably doesn't help moore's case either. Make up your own decision, I am just trying to show the truth, because I for one thought it was a horrible hit before i actually watched the video and made a decision for myself. you cant understand what went through bert's head? Youve never played a sport and been so angry at someone on the other team that in some way or another you try to hurt them? I know i have playing varsity soccer in high school. Im not condoning what he did but people let emotions run wild in sports, it happens, its the past, move along

yeah no i got the point though, hes def around a team that clicks now As far of the argument at hand, i think we all have differing concepts of an enforcer, but when I think of someone whos gonna drop the gloves no matter what to fight etc... i call them a fighter, enforcers can go about playing great hockey, legally, and are presence enough to make people think twice about hitting our smaller goal scoring snipers
