yup both goalies played well. One thing to note. I have noticed that when you shoot the puck low on nabby from the angle, say the hash marks on the outerside of the faceoff circle, he ALWAYS lets up the same juicy giant rebound to the exact opposite angle. I am really surprised none of the wings have capitalized on this yet

youre dead on about the pisspoor passing stuff, not only that but we try to get fancy pants in our own zone passing the puck trying to play puck possession, we cant do that when we dont pass correctly, or the sharks are forechecking that hard

I have given them due in other threads, for example the thornton thread, they played dominating 2nd half hockey, keeping the pucks in our zone for minutes at a time when we couldnt keep it in theirs for seconds at a time...they deserve all the credit for coming out and skating hard, really just manhandling us in the 2nd half. I just like to believe that has something to do with the wings not showing up in the 2nd half, unless when the sharks play hard and the wings play hard thats what it looks like. In which case we're in big trouble

i think the 7 game series is a legit excuse when trying to realize it in the big picture, but when it comes down to it, its crucial games like this that we could have won, might come back to bite us in the ass, THAT is why im so frustrated, if the sharks would have dominated us start to finish, i would accept the loss and be on my merry way, but the fact that the wings handed this game away, thats a different story. Props to hasek for a great game

im so furious right now, and i wasnt like this in game 1, because we simply got outplayed. This game we threw it right down the gutter....completely shut down offensively, and when you give the sharks minutes at a time in our defensive zone they WILL score. Common sense proves it. I found myself clinching my fists, grinding my teeth, this was insanely dissapointing

you resigned him cause hes a magnificent goalie. The reason he plays out of net sometimes is he is the kind of goalkeeper that serves as a sort of second sweeper. In net, hes fantastic, i just dont think Arsenal needs a second sweeper type of goalie...they need a strong in net goalie more along the lines of buffon
