Just wanted to give Modano his much deserved appreciation. I have a feeling he could have many more goals if he wasn't a lot like Yzerman and became a 2-way team player. Anyway, its good to see it happen to him! Congratulations!

Go Leafs. As long as the leafs keep winning NY statisticly cant make the playoffs. Which is exactly what im hoping for. apparently you don't pay any attention to the scores and standings....the rangers are in the 8 spot right now and the leafs are 10th....also the rangers have a game at hand on the leafs....check your facts buddy!!!

why is unfortunate? Hudler is so underrated...he just needs to get more playing time. If he got 20 minutes a night like zetterberg he could really show what he is able to do Kopecky is not going to be around next year

Nobody wants and injured AHL defenceman who isnt a strong enough skater in the NHL to play defence so they put him at foward (NORTON) but I would give up Williams and Ellis for Guerin

I still have yet to find another site that confirms this. Could it be that a Detroit news station is putting up false stories? Personally I wish it was true...for Johnson's sake...It's not cool that he was forced to leave this sport, but oh well, I guess life goes on after hockey!

williams a healthy scratch is all the room he needs! I hope to God this is true. Johnson is a guy who plays with all his heart...no pun intended!

Joey is really one of the "nice guys" in hockey. I hope he can make it in the NHL...

I miss Norton....he liked to fight! we should bring him up for the playoffs just to knock some of the weak guys around.

I'd give up Lilja for him. He is our 7th d-man and rarely will play when all d-men are healthy. Roenick is the type of player that could help us. He is a hard hitter and a good scorer. His main problem is he NEEDS to be surrounded by talent to score. Just like Hull and Shanahan. He also I think plays harder when his team is doing well and winning. I know thats a liability but I think he would be worth trying if we only gave up a player like Lilja or a draft pick.

i dont think going to one minute penalies will be anything extreme, but it sounds kinda dumb....5-5 ot bad i dea....the 4 on 4 in overtime has made it more exciting and face paced, it opens the rink up so that someone could score at any moment

We all know Holland will bend over and take it up the @$$ for someone worth about a half pound of $hit....I know how bout we overpay for Bertuzzi who will just worry about not hurting another player for the rest of his career....well at least on the bright side of this we can absolutely disdain forsberg again....i was kind of forgetting about it with him being in the east....
