agreed. especially since he will still have to pay for leasing the building on top of the $50+mil for repairs. That would make no sense. Who knows though, maybe it just wont work out with Palace Entertainment. They don't have to agree to give the Wings such a short lease.

it says in the article they would likely sign a 3 year lease if going to the Palace.

talked with him Monday. He says it's feeling great, but still this type of sugery doesn't completely heal for much longer than the 3-4 months he is giving it. He will be able to play on it, but it will still be healing.

its not probably for May. If everyone is healthy he will go. He is a healthy scratch most of the time and is very expendable. As for the trade thing, the only other person I see them trading would be lebda. Problem is he has more experience and is faster than Meech so it will probably be Meech before Lebda...unfortunately.

Abs and May will be sent down. A trade will likely happen, most likely, it will be Meech or Leino or both, for picks.

no GM's job should be for as long as they like. It should be as long as he keeps producing winning teams. I hate when people say that someone has the right because of their past. It's all about what have you done for me lately? Holland will probably stick around as long as the wings keep putting competitive teams on the ice.

inconsistency of officiating. I wouldn't have a problem if things got called the same way all the time, but EVERYONE knows that's not the case. Ruins the game when every night on the sports highlights they have to talk about a bad call deciding a game.
