you should maybe learn to read. It doesn't say any of them are playing, and in fact none are! They are just there to play in case of injuries or if Babcock got smart and wanted to shake things up.

I've got to go into the locker room a couple times. Once before the playoff game with Calgary a couple years ago, and last year before McCarty's first game back. I work with the media so I got to stroll around and interview a bunch of different guys. Mac is cool for sure and Maltby and Drapes of course had a lot to say. People who like to avoid us are Lids, Cheli, Dats, and a couple others, but most are willing to talk. As long as it is not after a loss. Then no one wants you there. Here's a list of guys I've interviewed. Steve Yzerman, Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk, Kris Draper, Kirk Maltby, Dominik Hasek, Mike Knuble, Ryan Miller, Marty Turco, Adam Hall, Chris Kunitz, Brian Rafalski, Chris Chelios, Jiri Hudler, Valtteri Filppula, Jimmy Howard, Matt Ellis, Ken Holland, Mike Babcock, Darren McCarty, Derek Meech the ones that aren't wings I interviewed at a Golf outing that Knuble puts on in Grand Rapids except for Kunitz who I went to school with and interviewed after he brought the cup to Ferris. Yzey, I interviewed at Van Andel during a Griffins game as well as Holland. So all in all, it was a cool experience, it kind of sucks though because you have to be professional when you're in there since you are working for the media. I can't go around asking for autographs or anything which blows because I would have quite the list piling up if I could. Oh Knuble is a great guy, super nice. I wish we could get him back. He won't flat out say it but he has suggested that he would love to come back home.

I couldn't care less as long as we have Ken and Mick. I will watch them over ESPN any day.

when you play every game you are likely to be pulled a few times. Still think he is mvp. If it werent for him, his team would not even be in the playoffs.

I think the 12 year deal solidified Hank becoming the Wings next captain. I wouldn't have a problem with either as a captain, and whoever isn't we all know is going to be the alternate from there on out. No biggy. There are so many leaders on the team anyway. It's not like the captain has to do much. Just listen to refs during penalty calls...once our team becomes a younger one, I would say I would worry about leadership, but we all know we have some great leadership waiting to take over once Lidstrom and Draper hang em up.

I'm going to wait for the playoffs before I judge.

I like the idea of Manny, but we can't afford him. Craig Anderson would be a good option as another 1A,1B with Ozzie. Definitely he would compete with Ozzie for the number 1 job. Clemmensen would be nice, but he is too young to just say he is going to make it. Too many goalies have one good year and then its over. Anderson has put up decent numbers as a back up for a few years at least. Who knows, it will be the cheapest option most likely.

maybe 7 years ago...no point now in getting an overpaid veteran goalie who is prone to injury. I like him though on my Fantasy team, he has got me a lot of points this year.

I can't believe no one has said this. Calgary is in the playoffs for one reason. Miikka Kiprusoff. He has won every game for them. If he wasn't on the team and they had to mediocre goal tenders as we do, they'd be F'ed! Case closed, thread over.
