    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

Lets hope he builds off last night. Still needs to shoot more though.

Cleary out 4 weeks w/fractured ankle

This blows...I was pessimistic about how the next 4 weeks were going to go without Pavel. Now without Danny I am dreading the fact that we could easily wind up in 8th or 9th seed with how tough a schedule it is and 2 of our top 3 offensive players out... If Hudler struggles and Mursak plays well Jiri may be looking to call in for some new colored equipment to match the new logo on his jersey... Also this is a great opportunity for Jiri to be playing Top 6 minutes. If he doesn't do anything with it I give up on him.,..

Murph just loves his hot dogs!

    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

Man Hudler looked better yesterday. He is having no luck when he makes chances. He needs to shoot the puck more. Once he scores he can stop pressing as badly and I think his Defense will come around more once that happens.

12/11 GDT: Red Wings 4 at Devils 1

Man Dan Larsson Chris Osgood had a great game today. I'm glad he isn't too old and washed up. Great game by Ozzie. Team played well in front of him clearing rebounds and eating up loose pucks and they took advantage of their offensive chances. Nice back-to-back wins!!! I could not stand whoever Doc Emerick's partner was. Doc was great as always. But that guy was TERRIBLE. He thought that the Devils were still in the game down by 3 with 5 minutes left. It seems like losing has been tough on that guy.

12/10 GDT: Canadiens 2 at Red Wings 4

My brother (A Hab's fan) Tried to tell me that he wasn't impressed by Howard. And that he didn't look that great, and is just a system goalie... I'm sorry but 36 saves on 38 shots for the game and 18 saves on 19 shots in the 3rd is impressive and not "system" I should have asked him if he has been hanging out with Daniel Larsson. To be fair...Wings fans are pretty terrible about losing. We are the masters of the tin-foil hat when it comes to finding an NHL screw-job conspiracy to blame for our losses. So I cannot fault any team for irrational loss reactions. We all do it. Its part of being a Fan.

    Can you blame him?

Looks to me like they thought they had this in the bag and sat back to rest up for tomorrows game. By the time they realized Habs were still in it the momentum was overwhelmingly going Montreal's way. Howie is the only reason its still a lead.

Every time Hudler has the puck he cries that he is making 3 million dollars less this year and has to play twice as many games and the tears in his eyes prevent him from succeeding.

There are equal or maybe more Habs fans than Wings fans in the arena.

Wings need one more goal IMO

Habs showing good urgency early here. Howie showing more.

Is it like the Sorcerer's Stone? It is an immortal elixer? Harry Potter and the Nick Lidstrom Body Fluids? How bout that sequel? If it is 3-1 at the 10 minute mark I expect to see lines 3 and 4 more and more to rest up for the game tomorrow night against the New Jersey Kovalchuckles.

No but I would like more...

12/10 GDT: Canadiens 2 at Red Wings 4

One problem...WOuld all the Lidstrom's want the same salary... THe salary cap may prevent any team from having more than 2 to 3 Lidstroms...

    Trouble on the farm

Wow. They are pretty terrible this year. Is it coaching or is it just that we have so many prospects that are still "raw"

He is just low on fuel...That fuel is dollar hot dogs. He should be ready to go till next year now.

I think there would have to be a law against cloning... Otherwise I would attempt to ice a team of 6 lidstrom's on Defense...

WHAT!!! That is what I have wrong with it. No day is complete for me without Murph!
  23. russianswede919293

    Mickey Redmond and Ken Daniels

But that is what makes Murph so lovable. He is clearly intoxicated and craving hot dogs! Seriously though. He does stumble on his words but he does add with his knowledge. They guy is a HHOF D-man and IMO is a big reason Lids was able to make the steps he did to be the D-man he is now when they were paired up. He may not be a great public speaker but he knows his stuff. If you look past the bumbling he adds some good stuff.

Every time Hudler goes a game without a point the Pimps of Detroit must make a killing as he drowns his sorrow with some double Hooker action.
