I agree with the words Wow and solid period for ______team if the _____ says L.A. The Wings were outskated all period and took some very stupid penalties...

That one play by Suk outskilled the other 19 minutes of this period combined for the Wings...lets capitalize on a momentum shift here...

I'm hoping your right...but with how they are skating the penalties are needed to slow the Kings down, but once they are called the opposite occurs GO WINGS SCORE A SHORTY...Cleary that is for you since you are on my fantasy hockey team

You can tell Oz is finally comfortable in the backup spot because he is playing like Oz when he gets to play and isn't suffering from the nonplaying talent meltdowns he had the past couple seasons sometimes...Looks sharp tonight....I would love to see Oz re-sign here after this year when Hasek wins the cup retires on top and Howard take over. Ozzy could do for Howard what Vernon did for him.

Disagree with the Pain Train assessment, he actually played a pretty solid game today. But agree with everything else. Except I think that Sammy and Huddles were alright even strength not bad.

Dallas Drake needs a good nickname, especially since he is quickly moving up the ranks to my top 5 favorites on the team. All I got is Double-Dees but I don't really like it.... Any ideas

Great game all around by the Wings. Bryzgalov is the only reason that thing even went to OT let alone the shootout. Great shifts by all the lines, I particularly loved the Drakian energy and fight. The defense looked pretty good, Lebda looked great, Kronner looked like he is finally getting going and can hopefully stay healthy and Lilja played a tremendous game I thought. Hasek made all the right saves at the right times, and the goals he let in were not his fault, and the product of unlucky bounces mostly. Great game, no com[plaints from me about anything, other than that Bryzgalov squeeked a point out for those Mickey Mouse Freaks.

The Canadiens have some tough decisions to make on defence with: Markov, Komisarek, Gorges, Dandenault, Brisebois, Hamrlik, Boullion, O'Byrne and Streit all still in camp. Markov-Streit-Komisarek-Hamrlik are all for sures on defence so: Brisebois, Dandenault, Boullion, O'Byrne and Gorges are all figting for the 5-6-7 slots on defense. The only one that can go down without waivers is O'Byrne so he is likely an odd man out. Gorges has impressed the Habs brass and seems to have a ticket in while Brisebois was a FA signing and they seem to want him on the 2nd PP unit. That leaves Boullion and Dandenault left to duke it out for #7...But Brisebois could easily play his way off the team tonight too...

Alright so I picked this thread because it said other prospects. Based on tonight so far who is the number 13 forward.... I would have to say I am most impressed with Ellis or Ritola, but I think that Grigorenko may get it by default of defection back to Russia.

I am a huge Dandenault fan but I wouldn't bring him back, he just doesn't fit. If you relook my first post to start the thread I never mention the Wings bringing him back, I started it more just as an observation of oh s*** I'm surprised this is going to happen. I wouldn't mind Dandy a wing but I don't think it is going to or necissarilly should happen.
