Even with Pronger out if Jacman does come back today then the Ducks Defense is weakend by the loss of Pronger but Jacman coming back is a nice addition. I've always felt he is a pretty good player. With those 3 all in in game 5 it will be a lot harder, and we need to capitilize on Pronger being out tonight. Wings win 3-2 in OT Winner to the TUZ (Bertuzzi)

This was just. Since Homer wasn't injured, I feel that one game does justice. Now if we can take game 4 while Pronger is out it will be sweet sweet justice.

Merely a flesh wound on homer, NO LONG TERM INJURY... THis however means that Pronger will NOT be suspended, and neidermayer probably wont be either.

I think that Neidermayer and Pronger should both be suspended, and all the wings need to do to send a message is a nice clean hard check on Pronger, and at the most a fight (though we have no fighters) No reason to head hunt and be goons ourselves. I truly hope the Pronger is suspended for 2 games, because he is so key to their team, and if he is suspended for 2 there is a chance that assuming we hang on to win this we take the series in 5.

I don't know about tonight yet. Detroit is lucky that the series is where it is, the Ducks have really outplayed us, and they are the first team to be outshooting us in the playoffs. I think that Kopecky will add some more physicality, P.S. this means no Calder next year in my eyes. And if the Wings can throw some big checks early, and control the puck more than they have been I think we will win. THere have been too many turnovers, especially in our own zone, for me to be too comfortable with the series. Wings need big checks, smarter defense, and to get back to puck posession and I say 3-1 Wings (Hasek is going to want to lower theat GAA again)

Everyone is saying Selanne is a huge deal and there has been little talk of how important Z is to us. Selanne played all 82 games and had 48 G 46 A 94 Pts +26 If you average out Z's stats to be a full 82 game season without injury he has 43 G 46 A 89 Pts, assume he had a +26 that he had at time of injury. They have comperable offensive stats and I think Hank is the better defensive forward, so I don't understand why the critics are all saying Anaheim is so favored over us and citing Selanne

I don't think it was that bad of a call, it was borderline, but we got some lucky bounces last game. As I said before good teams aren't phased by bad calls or fluky goals, they win anyways. We are a good team. Hasek will hold tight and we will get a 4th.
