Blasphemy!!!!! Murph can eat more hot dogs than an entire family combined - that defines how awesome he is. But on a serious note: I can see how Murph can annoy - he is a love or hate type of commentator. But explain why Kenny annoys you? I have trouble seeing that one. He is very solid - corrects his errors when they are made and follows the play very well. Dollar Dog night was Wednesday. He had a whole box of them - looked like 5 or 6 to me. I think they let the CBC guy in between the benches tonight for some reason.

There lies the difference. Though they play similar Lilja defines manliness - Salei comes up short in sheer manliness compared to Lilja. Then again most men do.

Too be honest Salei reminds me a lot of Lilja's first year here. In Lilja's first year he looked uncomfortable with the system and for every great play he made he matched it up with a bone-head error. The longer Lilja was here the more solid his play and the less bone-headed errors he made. When I see Salei I see a guy a lot like Lilja. Very solid defensively at times but also prone to be in the wrong place frequently.

He is playing like he is still on the gigantic rink where he gets the ice he needs to make plays and not like on an NHL rink where he needs to FIGHT FOR the ice you need to make plays. 2 years ago he did everything he needed to overcome his size and became a huge force. Last year in the KHL was a huge step back and it looks like he forgot how to work as hard he worked in the NHL 2 years ago.

The guy plays a tremendous game and is probably one of very few reasons the game even got to OT and people still Chastise him for losing the game in OT. I'm out on that note before this thing gets brutal. Go Ozzie - Go Howie - Go Wings.

Hey Murph played with the greatest defenseman since Bobby Orr in Detroit. He knows where he wants to be!

He is going to starve himself from the time he gets home from Monday's game until the time Wednesday's concessions open just to maximize the joy of Dollar hot dogs. I really love Murph. He was a great D-man and I love him as a commentator.

On NHL size rinks being a midget with mediocore skating completely negates your shot and hockey sense...Hudler needs to remember how to skate and earn his ice since there isn't so much of it that its free.

I really wish that the NHL would ban banging on glass and kick people out when they do it. I will laugh when one day some a-hole is banging on the glass and a player rips a shot right at his face causing him to fall into his seat and spill his beer. Losing (what in LA is probably) a 12 dollar beer is a punishment you never forget.
