Well when the last time you were in this building a few weeks ago you ran around trying to start fights because you were losing the refs are going to call you tight to keep that out of this game. Kris Draper has a +35 contract, meaning he signed a multi-year deal over the age of 35. If he is waived or if he retires his cap hit still counts anyways.

It was suggested on FSD and reported o have been suggested by FSD by George Malik on Twitter. Its from legit sources, but I think was speculation that has since been reported as fact. I think people were just surprised Maltby wasn't waived with the rest of the crew today, which IMO is because if Draper, Eaves and Bert are all injured on Friday, they need somebody to fill in after putting one of them on short term IR. That is my thought on it at least.

I normally try not to get to upset about Ken Holland moves. But waiving Patrick Eaves in order to keep Kirk Maltby up as a 14th forward would be one... I will not be happy at all if Patrick Eaves is waived. Maltby will clear waivers, Eaves will not.

Howard has looked very good today. Those rebounds are still larger and more frequent then I'd like, but man he looked good today.
