Setogucci if you aren't diving than I am pretty sure you can barely balance yourself on skates, because a funny breath knocks you over like it was from the big bad wolf.

My prediction: Jiri Hudler will fly in from russia and crash threw the roof of the shark tank in full uniform and score the go ahead goal with 0.2 seconds left in the game. After a long review (at least 30 minutes) of the goals validity it is determined no-goal - but since Hudler is not an eligible skater and has no team there is no too many men on the ice penalty. Enthralled by Happy Hudler's return the Wings are motivated and Hank scores the game winning goal less than 30 seconds into the first OT. Nope game 3 is FSD!!! Looking forward to Larry Murphy between the boards!

IMO they are pretty close. Before this season I felt that Ovie was a better player. I think Crosby took the step to a higher level this season though.

I could think of inappropriate ways to photoshop him based on his name...those that understand will chuckle... That said...Did he dive...Yes... Was it a high stick...also yes... Babs only mentioned it to psych the Sharks out.

I acknowledged that Gretzky was better. But I only ever saw him on TV. Crosby I have seen play in person at the arena. Thus Catfish Crysby is the most talented player I have ever seen in person...as previously stated...

I don't like the guy. I think he is talked about way too much. But I also cannot think of a more talented hockey player in the NHL... Since I never saw Gretzky play live I will also say he actually is the most talented player I have ever personally seen live. Don't like him, but he is that talented.

Like the concept. Too bad it will be just like the Jack Adams and go to whatever team had the biggest turnover from last season. If the Jack Adams has taught me anything it is that post-lockout sustained success is less impressive than turning a loser into a successful team... Same thing will happen with this award.

Lindy Ruff has had many opportunities to take the Sabres to a higher level. He has failed at almost every turn. I understand he loses many players to a poorly run front office - but none-the-less this most recent loss to a 6th seed has me thinking. I think that when they blew the second 2-goal lead and lost he should have lit a fire under his team saying they need to play more responsibly and hold a lead. Instead he blamed the refs - stating it was bad calls that cost them the game. This gave the team nothing to respond to and the lackluster play continued. Ruff has been a whiner for years now, constantly making excuses to why they lose. At what point is it finally his fault they are losing and not somebody elses? IMO the Buffalo Sabres could use a change up behind the bench. What do other people think?

The team really elevated their play tonight and played like a team. They looked great out there. Now play like that against San Jose and we are looking at a Conference Final.

I'm not so upset about that quick turnover to round 2 with how well they are playing tonight. They just need to keep playing like this. When they play like this they are the best team in the NHL.

Only the second time all series where the Wings talent has completely taken over a game. Nice to see.

Due to bad contracts they are stuck with those players. Roy for 4 million and Connolly for 4.5 million aren't going anywhere...nobody would take them. They have 12 million in cap to sign 2 d-men 4 forwards and a backup goalie...not enough money to bring in much quality with their other needs...Could MAYBE get 1 top-line player. Though I agree the GM Regeir should also be fired I think that there comes a time when a team needs a shake up. Ruff has had poor line management for the last feww years, and he makes excuses about loses instead of using them to motivate the team. After the "kick-in" no goal Vigneault didn't carry on about bad reffing as much as Ruff did for a few bad penalties... The Canucks rallied to win...Buffalo did not. The attitude in that locker room needs to be mixed up. A new coach could do it. Ruff is a good coach and would easily find work. But I think he has maxed out how he will do in Buffalo.

s***ty situation for whoever wins tonight. Would have made more sense to start the series on Sunday I think... The other series start on Friday and Saturday...Chicago started their series 2 days late this round which would have been the equivalent of starting on sunday. Silly NHL scheduling...

If we lose its 1-4 seeds advancing in the West...that's boring. Wings lets shake it up.

Today was the start of the NCAA Hockey tournament. Didn't see a thread on it, so am starting one to say go RIT TIGERS!!! They upset Denver (Ranked #2 in the country) in their first ever trip to the NCAA tournament. Most school pride I think I have ever had right now.

I'm not saying they are not in it. Just that I haven't been impressed by a single one of our players today.
