I honestly cannot name one player wearing the Red and White that I feel has played well today.

If we hang on and win this that is the save that won the series. He has come up huge since he had the off-game and Ozzie told him "Just play your game" He has. Howie has responded beautifully and is the goalie we all came to love this season in the playoffs as well now!

I'm pretty sure he is okay. Never fear. He was an analyst for NHL on the Fly on the NHL Network this morning.

Nobody has on 2 games in a row yet...nobody has 2 games in a row at home left... IMO the winner of tonight's game wins the series.

Was just reading Bob McKenzie and a few other's tweets. Seems Canucks fans feel that their goal was disallowed by Toronto not because of intent to kick but because Mike Murphy played for and coached the Kings.

Zetterberg showing why he is the next captain with his playoff play yet again. Howard with a great game. For as shaky as he was game 3, he was that much better today. Kept the game close when he had to. Controlled his rebounds for the most part, and had his head on his shoulders. Looked like the Jimmy we loved this season again!!!

I don't think we should have signed Samuelsson still. At the time Hudler looked like he was staying. That decision was made. I would still rather have Hudler than Samuelsson. Had we kept Samuelsson there would have been no chance of keeping Hudler. You need to look at the decision when it was made and not in hindsight to judge if it was the right one or not. At the time it was a good decision. And if Hudler is back next year, and successful it still could be a good decision long-term.

I like this idea because it truly signifies that there is finally a goalie that the fans feel has replaced Ozzie. Hasek-Joseph-Legace none of those guys ever got the crowd chant love from the fans like Ozzie does. They were loved, but Ozzie gets the huge love from Wings fans. Would be nice to share it with Howie now that Ozzie is passing the torch.

Being a fan does not entail putting on blinders. We call them as we see them. Talent wise the Wings could still win this series. But not how they played today. Today was their chance to take a hold on the series. They looked uninspired and played terribly. When they finally got something going Howard let in the World's Softest Goal on the short side and they died until the last 2 minutes of play. Nobody played a full 60 minutes of solid hockey on this team today. Unless they play better on Tuesday they won't win this series.

They have been for all but about 2 or 3 periods all series.

This really reminds me of the '06 Edmonton series. Detroit being outworked by a less talented team. Their goalie miraculous. Our goalie...mediocore at best...

Is it just me or is Howard's performance this series reminiscent of Legace's '06 first trip to the playoffs???
