As good as Jimmy has been I'm not quite ready to hop on the bandwagon. Don't get me wrong he has been brilliant, but we all know that he has the patented Jimmy Howard hot streak. If he continues to play this well for the next few weeks as well I will hop on the Howard Mobile and eat my crow. Get me on that Wagon Jimmy, your play tonight is helping.

First time I have ever respected Corey Perry. Classy move not to just wail on Ericsson when his helmet was messed up. He should have taken his visor helmet off...but the classy move outweighs that one. Congrats on grown up time Perry. Getzalf's check on Z was brutal, well deserved on the double minor. Great shift for the Sparties + 1 line Miller looked real good with abdelkader on that shift and it may have been May's best shift of the year. I'm really liking this line At 6 ' 2" if Miller could put 20 more pounds of muscle on he could be something real good.

I like when Howard is on his patented hot streaks...Keep it up Jimmy, you have single handedly kept the Wings in this game at times. Also Miller looked solid to me, he looked fast, made a nice check (thats right a nice check by a non Griffins softy), and had a great shot block on the PK

He has some ties to the team already. He and Abdelkader are both former Spartans. He was teammates with Brad May and Todd Bertuzzi. I would like to see Miller-Abdelkader-May out on the ice together tonight. Then based on who plays strongest bring Maltby back in.
