I think it is mostly precaution since both Hudler and Hossa were banged up after last game...That being said if he were to play I would be a happy guy...as long as Huds and Hossa were still healthy. You watching the same games I am. Ozzie has kept quite a few within reach for Detroit...like Game 7 of last round when he robbed Wisniewski when the game was close... Or Game 1 versus Columbus when he single handidly kept the Wings in it until they showed up... He has certainly bailed us out a few times...

All I know is that I have been watching the Wings since 1991 when I was 4 years old. Of all the goalies that have played here, I have never heard anyone cheer for them the way the Joe cheers for Ozzie. He is the Golden Boy of Detroit. There is a reason for that. Go Ozzie I love you man.

That is true. The Hawks benefited from extra PP time given to them by both Calgary and Vancouver, it will be key for Abdelkader to stay out of the box if he hopes to stay on that line.

Abdelkader has looked great in the 2 games he played. I think Homer on line 4 and then on the 1st PP is the way to go until he gets in a groove.

Actually Pronger's head looks really small. His oversized helmet makes his head look freakishly small...it actually scares me.

Pavs problem is he is trying too hard. He is making too many jukes and jives and not throwing the puck on the net...he looks like Pavs of 3 years ago not Pavs of today...
