I'm sorry but the Flames are a bunch of goons. They scrum after every play in front of the net, and after they finish a check they make an extra punch before leaving. Its how Iginla plays and its how the Flames play, and I truly hate them. They are up there with the Ducks and the Penguins for me. There is a difference between being a good physical team (San Jose) and gooning it up...

Yeah because Conklin's last start against Boston was much better.... And no this is not a knock (edited) on Conklin...or Ozzie... I am stating...Goals are up this year...is Danny Sabourin and Craig Anderson really the best goalies in the league...no... The rule changes and frequent penalties, and many 5 on 3 PPs and what not has goals up this year...so statistics are down...now Ozzie looked uncomfortable out there from the puck drop last night...but the Wings still won the game so I'm not too upset. I agree that Conklin and Ozzie should split time right now (which they are) until one of them can get hot.

That was the 2nd line to start the season, it didnt mesh and Hudler was replaced with a rotating group until Sammy stuck. I like the Hudler-Filppula-Kopey line with Sammy with Z and Franzen better.

Last year a Homer injury makes Franzen the man we love... This year will a Homer injury do the same to Kopey???

Keeping two of them will be hard unless they both take discounts since the cap should be close to the same as it is this year. I am torn between Franzen or Hossa staying and would be happy with either, but due purely to the $$$ Franzen is more affordable...but we will see Holland surprised me this year by bringing Hossa in, I'll wait and see what rabbit the GM Magician pulls out of his hat this spring before I worry.
