The game has been called fairly...its just that they are calling way too much. Let them play. We are on a WEST COAST TRIP and the refs are making this a special teams only game.... Not a good way to stay fresh for the whole trip.... Both teams are playing gritty and the refs are calling every single thing... Also I hate these Ducks announcers, and their camera angles, and their team...

Its worse than horrible. The puck is rarely viewable on the screen with their angles and they change the camera every 30 seconds, I feel like I'm watching that episode of Pokemon that caused the kids to seize up.

Perry is worse then Avery. He talks a mean fight but when somebody bigger then him takes him up on his trash talk he ******* out like he did with Sammy.

I'm sorry but this "Rinkside Vision" is horrible. The angles all suck,and you can't follow the play since the puck isn't on screen 50% of the time. Plus the constant switching of cameras back and forth is giving me a huge freaking head ache. What is wrong with traditional wide span horizontal camera that shows the entire offensive zone at the same time. Im tempted to turn the game off just because trying to watch this monstrosity of camera work is making me feel like death.

Three weeks is 8 games.... So it may be McCarty and Maltby... Unless they send McCarty down to call up Helm or Leino... I kind of hope the LTIR him and give him the extra week, or send Mac down to call up Leino....

Kenny just told us a hint for the Wings 1/1/09 game is take a look at 1926...Meaning... ITS THE COUGARS JERSEY WITH THE OLDE ENGLISH D!!!!!! If the Wings were ever to do a 3rd choice jersey I would want it to be that one.

Hossa's goal was gorgeous, it made Hank's lok standard...and Hank's was a beauty...he picked that corner like it was easy... Ozzie finally is looking sharp tonight... The best part of home games is Larry Murphy is part of the team.

I've always been a fan of Parrish. I hope that he plays a solid 10-15 games down there and gets signed on by the Isles.

It was a fun game to watch, but only a mediocore showing by the WIngs. With the sloppy play in our own zone I am happy with this win tonight. They have shown flashes of being brilliantly Detroit, but have made uncharacteristic lapses in judgement defensively so far. Things will tighten up though. Good victory tonight, and it should give Ozzie confidence that the boys have his back even on a bad day. Hudler will have a good sesaon, once he shoots more I see him getting back on that second line. He will have 25 goals this year I think.
