I think that your point is 100% correct, I also still think what I said earlier is valid, and they are worried about the backcheck to help the yound d-men out and they arent 100% focused on offense....

In my opinion part of the problem is that the forwards are just as focused on the backcheck to help those young defenseman and their offense is struggling because of that.

You know, at least this streak is now, and not in april...that was the ouchie the streak came in the WCF last year, its out of the way now. I just hope Holland doesn't over-react to the slump since it is 100% due to injuries, and sell the farm for some players this year. I want to win this year, but every year as well, and selling the farm is not the way to do that. Plus Presidents Trophy is a jinx anyways, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise

Man I really am not happy with tonights game...the team has held in there, played above average game, not bad, not great, just can't get a goal at all...kind of like the Dallas game.... I hate injuries, and I hate losing streaks...

As much as KH says Mac is a no go until conditioning picks up, I think Downey is hurt because he hasnt been in since the elbow, and he should be, so either Babs is being unwise or Downey is hurt, and if Downey is hurt Mac may get up sooner than anybody thinks.
