Hey, At least its early in the year!! Lets get the injuries out of the way early! If Franzen is out 4-6 months when does the roster have to be set for the playoffs? The reason I ask, if he is not ready or still on LTIR, maybe we should consider using his unused salary and pick up someone in November instead of waiting. Just a thought!!

Tonight while flipping through the games on Center Ice I came across the Predators/Oliers Game. Edmonton beat the crap out of Nashville 6-1. It was 4-0 in the first, I thought to myself, where is Tootoo? He usually out there in these type of games taking cheap shots. FSN South mentioned nothing about him! I googled his name and Fox Sports says he is out for the season with a Hip Flexor Injury! Does anyone have anymore info on this? I usually don't like to see players get injured, but Tootoo is the only player that I have 0 respect for!! See, that is what I thought too, but then I came across the Fox Sports website and that said out for the season, that is why I was asking on here. The Preds website said day to day and others said he is on IR with a hip flexor not a groin, and of course the Fox Sports stated Out for the season. Who knows!! I was really looking forward to Brad May getting some love on Tootoo, but maybe not this year!

Does anyone know if the College has to be in Michigan? I go to a Tennessee College! I visit often and would visit more if this is the case!!!

Nev, you siad it best, we must play all 60 minutes, I think that was our problem last year!! There is no reason why this team can't win without Franzen, sure the injury sucks but that is part of the game! No excuses, its time for Z, Dats, Flipper to step up and put pucks in the net!! These guys are making the money, start earning it!! Full 60 minutes is critical, no more 20 minute games!! I think this injury may be a shot in the arm this team needs.

Living here in Redneckville, TN I would say the Preds fans are up there on the list. They have these stupid chants that make no sense what so ever!! These people must meet a Tootsie's (local bar in Nashville) to make up these chants before everygame. "Chelios is a sissy" is one of their chants, but just watch a game and listen!! There the same chants that your local high school uses during a pep rally! I would agree that Leafs fans are bad! When the Leafs come to Detroit, the Leafs fans walk around the Joe like they own the place. However the best fights in the stands happen during Wings/Leafs games!!

I just bought my plane ticket to Denver on October 24 for the Wings and Avs game. My brother is purchasing the tickets, I think we are sitting behind the Wings Bench in the lower bowl. I have dishnetwork, and I have to say Dish is good for watching Hockey! The only thing Dish does not offer is MLB Network because MLB wanted too much money for it, and It does not offer MLB Extra Innings! Also there is no NFL Sunday Ticket (which isn't their fault). Other than that Dish is AWESOME! I have the Multi-Sport Package which is $5.99 per month and that includes FSN Detroit, as well as NHL Network, NBA TV, and NFL Redzone! OF course you can get NHL Center Ice!! We have the top 250 channels, plus my sports and the total is only $99 per month plus whatever taxes you have to pay!

Yeah, I have Dish Network and all of the FSN Detroit games are in High Def!! If you don't have High Def Subcription, the screen will be 1/4" smaller all around the TV screen! I though there was something wrong with my TV at first, then I remember they switched to all HD!!

I have always said that if teams cannot field a team that makes money, then they should fold, not get money from the Redwings or Leafs, or whoever! I hate the fact that the only reason Atlanta, Nashville, Florida, Tampa Bay, Phoenix all are still playing because The Redwings/Leafs/Canadiens make all of the money and have to hand out welfare checks to these crap teams! Back on the subject, I think the firing could be a mistake because they have no one to replace Paul with! Sure they have an intern sitting in, but he is not going to do anything to make the situation better. I would love to see a Chelios, Shanahan type as NHLPA leader, I think all the players would come together if they had on of their own leading them!
