I have Dish Network here in TN. The Center Ice Channels are 626-639 The NHL Network is 625 (as long as you have the CI Package) I know that in the Michigan area the Wings game lastnight was on the Sports Alternate channels which are 444-452, thats what they do down here with the Nashville Premadonnas. I must say that Dish Network does a great job in trying to put all the sports packages together, my mom has Direct TV and that is a mess trying to find the games because you have to go through all of the Country's sports channels to find that games.

Scott Hartnell is probably the most overrated player in the NHL. All he does is cheapshot people, which makes hime fit well in Philly. The reason he had to throw his glove is he was out of position, like he always is!

I would be on the rational side. Lets face it, we have not played well all season long, rather it be against Tampa or Boston or whoever. I am not sure why there is so much negative stuff on this site so far this year, but lets face it, sure all teams are going to come after us in the forst couple of months. This is a chance for these other teams to get an identity, I would say after the all-star break, we will see that disappear, since that is when teams will start jocking for playoff positions. Although we haven't played well, we are still 6 points ahead of Chicago in the division and only 7 points back of San Jose for first over-all in the league! Oh yeah we have 58 games left as well (116 points). I think we are gonna be ok. I think some people on this site need to realize just how lucky we are as fans of this franchise. I hate to tell you all were not going to win every single game this year.

I think that this is gonna be a tough one. Columbus will be ready tonight, this is their first shot at the Champs! I am willing to bet that Mac gets into a fight in the first five minutes of the game, Columbus did that their last game against Phoenix, but the Columbus player (can't remember who) fought Carcillo right off the bat, not a good pick, but it did give Columbus a jump, and I fully expect that tonight!!

I was actually watching this game live when it happened. Bill Guerin was like holy s*** I just scored a goal!!! I felt sorry for O'Brien!!! I wish that they would have put him back in the game, so he could just move on from it, but since the Habs fans are crazy, there is no way Guy could have put him back in! The play by play guys on MSG were saying that the Habs fans have been all over this kid O'Brien for a while now, something along the lines of not playing and skating hard. This just goes to show that maybe Lebda and Lils aren't as bad as we thought!!! I hope that during the next Habs home game O'Brien gets a goal and flips off all of the Habs fans!!!

Here are my grades: Forwards A- Defense D Goaltending B- So if that is the case we will use the GPA System: we have a 4+1+3= 8. 8/3= 2.67. A 2.67 is a C+. Therefore my grade will be a C+ The professor is out!!!!

I don't know why anyone is suprised!! Everytime Nashville is getting their asses handed to them, the only thing they can do is cheapshot and goon it up, but just like their garbage organization they forgot that they weren't playing Columbus and San Jose just happenes to be a team that is not going to be pushed around. There is nothing better than watching Greg Fabreze getting his face smashed!! TooToo getting beat, and to top it all off, Arnott was taken off on a stretcher after he had a nasty collision!!! Arnott was ok, he has a neck strain!! I think I have th eperfect place for TooToo, how about joing Vince McMahon and WWE!!! There is nothing better than watching Goonville getting beat down!!!

Man, that is too bad for him. It was kind of an innocent play and then Pisani's leg got caught against the boards!! I guess that means that Penner will play on Tomorrow against Columbus and us on Thursday!! I feel bad for Pisani, I think he is a hell of a forward, and I will always remember him kicking our asses in the 2005 playoffs!! Get well soon Fernando!!

yeah mindfly, alot of our homegames lastyear where on at 7ET because most of them were National Televised Broadcasts here in the US and Canada (TSN). For the most part the Wings come on at 730ET if there at home. If they play on the east coast there are times when the game begins at 7et. Hope that helps you!!

Here is my problem, When a team goes up 5 -2 and then all of a sudden that team with the lead is killing off 5 on 3's. This is exactly what happened in the Wings/Pens game lastweek. Lets all face it I know that we quit playing and blah blah blah, but so did Pittsburgh, until ***** ass Crosby whinned his way to 3 straight BS penalties!! I just think that its ironic that the team the NHL wants in the spotlight was getting embrassed again by the team the NHL hates, but loves to have in the spotlight because they make the most money, and then all of a sudden the pretty boy team gets a helping hand, I think that is what is driving fans away!!! Also, the 5 on 3 we got in Tampa that lead to our 2 goals was BS as well. Phil Esposito said it well during that game, "these guys are turning this into a joke". The players never know what to do anymore. Look I have no problem with calls that are called on both sides, but that is clearly not happening.

Hey Youngguns, do you think that a trade for Hudler and Lilja could be in the works. Huds as 12 points in 14 games and has the ring along with Lillypads!! I wouldn't mind seeing a Joe D move now, but I don't think it has to be as drastic as Allen Iverson!!! But I get what your saying

I totally agree with you!! However I'm a bit concerned at why people on this website hate Sammy so much. Folks you have to remember that he has I believe 12 points in 14 games. That is .86 points per game from a 3rd liner!!! I highly doubt that anyone in GR is going to be able to do that right off the bat!! Keep in mind Hossa leads the team with 19 points!! I will say this, its not only our Defenseman that are playing bad, its our Forwards as well. Our Forwards have been turning the puck over alot. The Wings rely on the forst pass out of the zone, and that transition makes our offense so great. You got a look at that during the late first period and during the second perod, then we went to sleep and QUIT!!!

I'm not too sure on what to do, however, I noticed lastnight that we simply did not finish!! When we went up 5-2 we simply quit!! All 19 of the players quit!! They though that they had that game in the bag!! and when they noticed they had to start playing again the Wings simply could not turn it on again!! I would like to see Ericsson and Leino as well as Helm back, they have that spark that I think we need right now. Lets face it Lebda and Lilja simply don't have it on Defense, they are always out of position, Liljas defensive zone turnovers lead to 2 Pittsburgh goals late in the third lastnight.!! It also seems like Lidstrom and Raffy are a bit tired!! They don't seem to be playing like they did last year, but we all know that won't last long!!

I have been watching The Wings since the early to mid 80's and this crap about attendance numbers are hurting the Wings and if things don't change they will fold or blah blah blah, well I remember when no one went to games in the 80's, hell Illich had to raffle off cars to get people to come and yet the team never folded. There is no way in Holy Hell this team is moving out of Michigan or Detroit. I think that Strachan has been hanging aroung Eklund too long again!!

For the love of God, I just want to see us stop turning the puck over!!! Lilja about gave me heart failure inm the SJ game!! I see us waving Lebda here shortly!! HE probably won't get picked up by anyone, so he will end up in GR!! That is just a feeling I'm getting!! That means that one of the kids will get a shot!! I think that would be the shot in the arm this team needs!!! We looked slow and old in that game against SJ and it was a complete embrassment!!! I hope to NEVER see play like that again this year!!!

Hey all of you Wings fans on the left coast. I just wanted to say that you guys were AWESOME lastnight!!! I couldn't believe how many Wings jerseys I saw on TV lastnight!! I couldn't believe how loud you all were when Z scored early in the first and also the loudest was when Hossa scored!! I love watching our fans dominate the attendance in visitung arenas!! I just wanted you all to know that you guys (and gals) were heard lastnight and keep up the good work tomorrow night at the Honda Center in Anaheim!!!!! GO WINGS and GO RWNW!!!!

Yeah Vlady, I will probably be moving out to the left coast (San Deigo Area) in 3 years or so, rest assured that I will be joing you all at the Staples Center and Honda Center, and what the hell lets take that drive to San Jose!! Cannot wait to be a member of RWNW!!

I don't want to beat a dead horse here, but we are giving up waaaaaaaay too many shots. Hell NYR had 32 shots with 10 minutes left in the game lastnight, and then all of a sudden they didn't get another one, they ended with 32 shots, that tells me that we were simply not playing our game on D!! They finally woke the F up and played Redwings Defense, that also includes the FORWARDS!!! Its not just Lilja or Lebda or Ozzie, its everyone and they know that!! The last ten minutes and the OT was the best hockey we have played this season IMO!!
