I think this press release is a marketing ploy by Nashville, because I read that Rads already signed the deal with Russia, and wantd to go there. Without Radulov, Nashville has nothing to market the future with, so therefore they are saying this. I still don't understand why these fans down here like this team, the organization lies to them and all they want is more money from the city! I just don't get it!

Last season NHL Center Ice Online broadcasted most of the Wings Pre-Seasons games. Some of the games were not TV broadcast, but were stadium broadcasts, which was different. I would like to see the game in Halifax though!!

Because that is where Nashville is moving in 4 years!!!!

I would be soooooooo pissed if we got rid of Ericsson and Quincey!! I think they are our Defensemen of the future!! Trading either one will come back to haunt us!!! Meech could easily become a forward with somw work, and I think Lebda would be the odd man out! Lebda played great when all of our D went down last year. and I think he played good in the playoffs, so I think we could actually get some good draft picks for him!!

I must say that even though Downey had no playoff time, he did however play a huge roll in protection in the regular season for guys like Z, Dats and Flipper, Lids and so on. Sometimes I think that goes unnoticed!we need a Downey or Mac or even both to come back even more now this year just as a protection. If you all noticed with Downey out there it took pressure off from Dats and Z to play there game and not worry about cheap shots that they had taken in the past! We won't have to over pay for Mac or Downey either!!!!

I would love to see Detroit/Chicago become a rivalry again, but I think it may be a few years out still. They will not be able to pick up any big players next year at the deadline and I feel that will be the end of their run, but if they can use Campbell, Towes, and Kane as a core group, they could be a team to become worried about in the years to come!!

We shouldn't be suprised! This team gave up alot to get most of the players that have left, and the Penguins weren't sure how or if they would be able to resign them! They had a chance if they signed players to win the cup, they went all in and came up a bit short. They also did it to put fans in the stands so that they could show the city that they had a reason to build the new stadium. I see them going after UFA's in a couple of years so that they can fill the new arena! Just my thoughts

Kristian tallied 66 points and 25 goals with the Flames last year, and played in 81 games. He is a Swede and I feel that he would be a great second tier forward for us!! Huselius will only be 30 in November, and I think we could get him fairly cheap. Thoughts??

Also, it just seemed like every time we played Calgary he scored multiple goals in games!! Possibly that playing with Swedes may help him in his work ethic, but NOT at 3.5 to 5 mill per!!

I just thought he would be an upgrade from Hudler, and the only reason I say that is because Huds seems to go into scoring droughts, but the more i think about it maybe he isn't worth it.

Plus TSN had him on there top 10 list of players as UFA's

I just thought we could sign him to a 4 year 15 to 20 million dollar deal. Thats some where around 3.5 to 5 mill per. Do you all think he is worth that??

Remember all, that Ty played in Edmonton during the Finals in 2006 and played well when Rollie went down, and almost pulled the series out down 3 games to 1. Edmonton had a decent defense as well as Pittsburgh did last year, just imagine what he will do with our GREAT D!!! This is a great deal!! Not at all suprised, in fact I pretty much expected someone like Conklin being signed!

I do know that in 1998 LaPointe was one of the forwards, and Larry Murphy and Lidstrom were on the ice at the end! I'm pretty sure that LaPointe was the first one over to Ozzie at the end of the Game! In 1997 I'm certain that Yzerman and Feds were out there as well as Lidstrom, I think even Shanny was out there too!! I hope that I'm right, I'll have to watch the DVD tonight to be sure!!

I personally think that the players that are on NHL rosters are seeing guys that would not have been on NHL roster making more money overseas than they are here in the NHL, that scares me a bit! That is what I was trying to say, sorry for the confusion!!

I don't know, I have a funny feeling that we will be in another strike after next season, because it seems like alot of players are deciding to go over seas to play. They are making more money over there, that is why I hate the CBA and the damn wellfare checks! I personally think that next year there will be a ton of UFA and possibly RFA's going over seas and making big big money!I seriously hope I'm wrong!!

I would say yes, but for no more than 1 million a year!! He was impressive, but not 3 million impressive. I like his play, but like someone else said, we are loaded on D!! Hopefully he doesn't go to anyone else in the Central!!

I don't think its worth putting an offer sheet out for Perry! We need to sign the players we had this year first, and maybe get a second or third line guy (like Drake) and just roll like we did last year, and wait until the trade deadline to make any BIG moves if needed!!

Well as much as I hate Nashville, I think they will pretty much screw themselves!! I'm not so sure that Webber is worth the risk! We are loaded on the back end anyway!!

My vote is going to Franzen! Thge only reason is because no one (except us loyals here on the site) realized what this guy did for us this season! Huds played well, but wasn't consistant, The Mule always seemed to come up with a huge goal when we needed one this season. I'm also going to give a second place vote to Rafalski.
