I do like Ken Daniels alot, I like his comments and I think he could do both jobs, that would probably mean the Wings getting more HNIC games. Bettman needs to find a better affiliate for the NHL. ESPN would rock, but there is TNT, TBS, FOX affiliates, CBS, and I cannot see why NBC would not put hockey on a better cable channel that everyone has. Sorry but Versus had been terrible. Sorry but Monday night games on the same night as Monday Night Football, and Monday Night Raw, whos idea was that?? Probably Bettmans. The NHL needs to compete with the NBA, therefore Have games on the sametime as ESPNs basketball coverage, trust me it would work, but not with versus. DON'T GO KEN!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Me too!!! I hate the idea, it will only make Cheese Ball players like Karyia and s*** bags like him cherry pickers, The NHL does not need to do that. I think the game is fast enough, and anymore speed is only going to create more injuries. Stop trying to change the game. You know the NBA also had the lowest ratings in Finals history this year, right now Football has the US by the balls, so the NHL needs to stop trying to stay up with the Jones and Keep doing what they use to do,PLAY THE F'in GAME!!!!! Trust me it will fix itself. Bettman can only think himself for this lack of interest, by putting teams in Phoenix, Atlanta, Nashville, Florida, Carolina. Remember how great Baseball was in Montreal!! EXACTLY!! Now there in Washington, or NBA in Vancouver, what a great idea, NOT SO MUCH, now its in Memphis. I think Bettman is trying to market the game where there is no interest, I just don't get it!!

Looks like the Habs are going into the FA market!!. Lets face it The Habs have been terrible ever since 1993. Well maybe not terrible, but since Roy was traded at least. It was nice to see two Original Six teams make a trade thought!!

With out a doubt its his lack of size. That is why Kopecky played in Game 6, Kopecky can hit and play like Calder and Cleary, Hudler will have to make some changes to his game to play here in Detroit, I would hate to see him go, but right now the only way he plays is if someone is injured or has the night off, the best he going to get is 10 to 12 minutes per game.

Legion, Here is what I see, and I hate to see say this, but if Mr. "Blackberry" wants to move the team, I see him raising ticket prices, so those great $10 tickets would become $25. I would like to see the team stay because there are alot of hockey fans down here and if the team moves so will the interest. There are a ton of folks who want the team out of Tennessee and most of them live in Tennessee, and I for one don't know why. I have been told its a Yankee sport and it does not belong here. Here is how I combat that, you probably know how the Nashville Speedway wants a Cup race, and the city would like a MLB team, well if the other Organizations see how the city and people piss away this opportunity then they may think twice about Nashville. The only reason the Titans are still here is because of sucess at the beginning, if they begin to have a couple more losing seasons, you'll see these same people turn their backs on them. I really hope the Preds stay here, not just so I can see the Wings, so we can all enjoy the best sport in the world close to home. The problem with Quebec fans was the fact 95% of them were Montreal fans, so as long as the Habs were winning, who cares what the Nords were doing. I bet now there would be a much better following for the Nords considering the way Montreal has faded a bit thanks to our Hockey hero Bettman. It is going to take Bettman to quit and have one of the orginal six teams win the cup to keep hockey out of this regional interest it has now, Bettman has completley ruined this game, I just don't understand this guy

As I was picking up lunch at McDonalds this afternoon, I glanced over at the Tennessean newpaper and saw the main headline stating that the "NHL Boss says Predators are staying put" Now the NHL boss would be our great friend Gary Betman. I would have taken him about 5 to 10 yrs ago, but not now. He would end up like Norton, wouldn't be able to keep up with the play. I do like Barnaby alot though, as long as we don't have to play against him.

I have read the newspaper a couple of times here in tennessee and I found that it was pretty creditable, however there hockey coverage is terrible to say the least, that is why I found it so wierd that they had that article on the front page today, I truly believe that it was a publicity stunt, we'll see.

Its funny I don't buy them because I usually get them from work. I usually can only attend when the Wings are in town because I have school at night. I do hope they stay I think the city would be losing a good thing, but I see this new owner moving them out!!

SPOT ON BROTHER!!!! I loved how some of the Wings stepped up in the playoffs. However will they be able to do that over 82 meaningless games, we'll have to wait and see. We were extremly soft during the regular season, and it seemed like the only player that would stick up for anyone was Chelios. I hope that Bert, Calder and Lilja will fit the mold as our "enforcers", but to go out and sign a goon in uncalled for. There is no need for a Probert or Kocur anymore, the game is too fast and those type of players cannot keep up with the play.

I would like to thank the staff for an awesome website. I love the GDT by Afflac, infact I look forward to those posts. I would have to say this is the best website I have ever been a part of, I check it everyday because I don't want to miss anything. Do you think the Wings will have to move up to draft them??? I know that Jim Nill and Gordie Howe and I think Stevie were in Sweden lastweek prior to Game 5 looking at prospects. If this kid is breaking Pavels records then I think we should take a look at him, unless he is asking too much money. I would rather see Hudler and some of our GR boys get a shot with the Wings, we have alot of talent down there, so I think trading up to get this kid is a bit too much

I will miss Lang, but he did take alot of dumb penalties and alot of turnovers and I remember becoming extremly pissed at him throught the season, we need to get a good FA in his absence (if he leaves), infact we could probably get two FA with his cash. I think he was banking 3.5 Mill this year correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway GoodLuck Langer!!!

Yeah I see Lang and Schns leaving, but other than that I see the team staying the same. I think we have a great core of guys and I think if we pick up a D-Man and a sniper we'll be even better and it better not be Karyia (he is not a sniper HE SUCKS). Would love to see Ryan Smyth. Smyth would give us 3 guys to go to the net. We'll see. I ahve a good feeling about next season. I hope that Dom hangs is up though I don't think he has it anymore, he just is not as great as he use to be, I know he had a great playoff but I don't think he can last an entire season and I'm sick of walking on eggshells with him. If Jiggy is out there then lets give him a try, you can beat him, sign him. He Loves Babs so we'll see.

I have not seen anything, the only thing I heard was the rumor that he was injured prior to the San Jose Series, as for him stepping up, I would like everyone to step up and I think if Babs was that upset, I think he would have benched him long ago, that is why I think he is injured, I mean, hell; if he has not stepped up yet what makes you think he will, little late for that, still I believe he is injured somehow. It seems to me everytime I see him out there he is mucking it ip in the corners, and I thought that was the reason we got him!!. That is just my thoughts!!

Why is Babs so upset with Calder???? I'm confused, I think Calder has played well, I still think he is injured!!! I would still oove to see Rex play, I think we can out skate Anaheim with Rex in the lineup. Still,I cannot figure out why Calder is in the doghouse.

I would have to say the refs were terrible lastnight, as long as you didn't "hook or Hold" someone you could do anything you wanted, even punch a goalie in the face. We need to have more offense, I was extremly upset with our lack of offense and I blame most of it on bulls*** penalties, but its all in the past, I was extremly proud of our guys on the way they hung in there and got the W. Keep it up boys. I think the Wings can play any style any team wants. I think Anaheim is playing just like Calgary did and hopefully it won't belong and they will just as frustrated, as long as we don't get stupid. GO WINGS!!!!

That is why Ken Kal is the best radio broadcaster!!! I still got chills on the Lang goal. I had to listen to it 3 times,that was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Did Ken Daniels do the game lastnight for FSD?? I would have to agree with ya. I must say this is what happens whenyou don't put a team away, you let a team like the Wings hang around they are going to beat ya. Look how close the Sharks were to putting the puck in the empty net, and then Lang is putting the puck in the net, AMAZING!!!! I will be checking myself into the hospital because I think I'm having a heart attack, the Wings are killing me, but I Love It!!!!!

HOLY SHEEP s***!!! I was sitting in my rocking chair wondering if Lang would be back next year or who would be cut and all of a sudden, Lang ties it and then before you know it, were skating off the ice with a 3-2 win. Shame on any of you who went to bed early. I will NEVER forget this game for as long as I live!!!! The Wings just became a team tonight, I'm soooo proud to be a Wings fan, this is why I love Detroit Redwings hockey. I will take the heat for the Wings giving up the first two goals. See I was working until last few minutes of the second period. Once I got home, I quickly put on my Z jersey and Wings hat, and the rest is history. I'm suprised that the Cops didn't get called to my apartment when Dats scored because I think it was just as loud in here as the Joe. I tend to get fired up during Wings games. The last 124 of that game was crazy nervous, but I think we can pull at least one out in the "tank". If we bring it back to the Joe tied 2-2, we have a shot a winning this series. GO WINGS!!!!!
