I can just say that there is no way in Holy Hell that Weber ends up in Detroit! As many of you know I use to live in Nashville and there would be a riot on Broadway if Weber ended up with the Wings! It would mirror the feeling we would have if Lidstrom was traded to the Hawks! Nashville fans HATE us, and I do mean HATE us, eventhough they swing from our nuts and want to be us sooooo bad! Anyway, I digress on that; but there is no way Weber ends up here. I would love it to happen, but I just do not see Nashville letting Weber go anywhere and especially to Detroit!

San Jose did get boned last night! But I couldn't possibly think of another team that deserved it more that San Jose! I am more proud of how the Wings added damaged to the Sharks chances in this series against Vancouver. Todd McCellan mentioned in the press conference that the Sharks were a bit tired in Game 1 and did not get their legs back until the 3rd game!! Not to mention Kronwall eliminating Clowe, that in itself was a HUGE loss for the Sharks!! Kronner for Lady Byng!!

What does everyone think of no conferences?? Rank the league 1-30 and the top 16 make the playoffs. You could play everyone twice (54 games) and then fill the rest in with the teams in your division. The top 4 division winners get seeds 1-4 and the rest fills in after that! Even travel in the regular season and even travel during the playoffs! This obviously needs some work, but I think it could work out in the long run!!!

This is one of my favorite RedWing clips of all time! This is when I began watching RedWing hockey and Probie and Kocur night in and night out beat the hell out of someone! Damn I miss those days!!! I remember during the national anthems when the cameras would pan the Detroit bench and you could tell rather Probie was in a bad mood or not! We lost alot of game sback then, but damn it was fun!! That clip brings goosebumps! I think that is why I cherish the Championships so much because of the beatings we use to take and I think anyone that use to follow this team in the DeadWings era understands what I'm talking about!!

This just shows what a waterdown joke this league has become! Pretty soon the league is going to have to melt the ice so that the West Final can be played in pool for waterpolo! Thats fine, if this is what Bettman wants for the NHL then this league will become more irrelevant each year! I just think its funny that of all teams the Shards are complaining..... Just baffling, would have been interesting to see what the Shards would have said if they wouldn't have blown yet another 3rd period lead!! Hmmmmmmmmmm...... Hey Errorson, don't let the door hot ya in the a@# on the way out!! I think its time for Drapes and Ozzie to hang it up as well. I would try to move guys like Flip and Huds and yes, even Franzen. His contract is too long and he is not the player he use to be, I am sick and damn tired of the injuries and excuses with Mule and its time for a change. I see Salei somewhere else next year as well, but I would try to retain everyone else maybe let Miller walk too. We need to get bigger and tougher in the offseason. Its embrassing watching this team dumb and chase with guys like Huds and Flip and China Doll Franzen! IF Holland signs Errorson to a multi year deal over 2 million per, I will be PISSED!!!!

I agree, something needs to change! I say Motown in for Mule and Kindl in for Ericsson! Mursak in for Huds might be ok! I think Murs can play a better grinding style than Huds! I personally do not think Mursak will play in the playoffs unless someone gets injured!

See I agree with Trading Mule as well. The dude is a stud when he is on, but inbetween all the injuries the dude is a China Doll. I'm sick of the injury excuses, this guy is making 5 million per and scores 25 goals!!! Not good enough! Also Ericcson, what a waste of space, constantly getting beat, never uses his size and flat out SUCKS!!! Flipper, needs to leave as well, tons of talent but disappears when we need him. Raffi is GREAT on the PP and I do not know why people want him gone! As for getting rid of Kindl instead of Ericcson is just crazy! I hope we see Kindl in the lineup tonight instead of Errorson! Other than that the lineuo is pretty decent for a salary cap era. But I do agree with the original poster, we need to get much more hungry and show up every night! These third period blown leads are terrible and are becoming more common and I think it comes from guys not being hungry enough to win!!

When was the last time the Wings were down 0-2 in a Series and came back and won???? My memory states that it was against Minnesota in 1992! Infact we were down 3-1 in that series!! Only difference is we lost the first two at home that year!

Thats a great video put together, however its only of Game 6, sure the refs missed some calls (ok, alot of calls), but where is the video of games 4 and 5?? This is a series and when you have a team on the mat down 3-0, there is 0 excuse for complaining about the refs, The Canucks put themselves in this position by getting smoked a combined 12-2 in games 4 and 5. First off I am still pissed that there was a penalty called on the first hit! That was a clean shoulder to shoulder hit! The second one just shows that Helm doesn't care how big you are or how physical you are, he will beat you at any style you want to play!! Gotta love this Kid! Then the fact we scored off their Big Goon ass get smoked by Helm was simply icing on the cake!! To add insult to the first goal it was Salei that scored it!

I can agree with that! Valentie is a New York Boy and loves his Giants, but Terry Foster actually has some knowledge of hockey! Eventhough I still resent him for his comparison for Detroit sports fans to Lennox Lewis, that being said I think Foster speaks for the sports fans, where as Valentie tries to argue that the fans are typically wrong! I personally think the only personalities on 97.1 that I would consider creditable would be Stoney, Gator, and Caputo! Pat Caputo is by far my favorite followed by Stoney and Gator!
