This league started out with 8 original teams and has gone through two expansion drafts to broaden the league to 12 total teams. We are undergoing our 3rd expansion this off-season to move up to 14 total teams. The SBFHL is a head to head points based league with a very deep scoring system using over 20 different stat categories. Our league uses a two conference setup with two divisions in each conference. Players who may or may not retire: 1. Hasek- Wouldn't this be the best time to go out? He didn't play much but he still won a cup. 2. Chelios- I like him and I know he wants to stay but do we really even need the guy at 47? 3. Drake- Did his job and won a cup. Any need to play one more season? There are a few more guys getting up there in age. I am really interested in who comes back for next season.

I was surprised when I couldn't find that answer to this question. When are NHL teams allowed to make trades again? Is it the day of the entry draft or sooner. For some reason I can't remember when it is in seasons past.

So I looked it up and the last season that a player scored 60+ goals was in the 1995-1996 season. Alright, sorry if this has already been posted but I don't post here that often. I was wondering what the chances are of Hasek returning for another season. I have both Osgood and Hasek on my keeper fantasy team and they have been a killer combo for me. I like the duo both in real life as well as fantasy hockey. I was just wondering what the odds were of keeping this combo around for one more season would be? It seems like both goaltenders are up for it and both are playing extremely well. I know Hasek is old but will one more year make his performance decrease all that much? Just wondering what your opinions are on the subject.

Some people on this forum REALLY need to get over X-Redwings. This is just getting stupid at this point; McCarty, Lapointe, Fedorov... Just because they used to be a Wing doesn't mean they are still good hockey players. Why doesn't anyone here understand that concept?

We are a full keeper league running through CBS Sportsline Fantasy Hockey and we just finished a very successful first season. We had 8 teams for our inaugural season and we are looking to expand to 10 teams for the upcoming season. The full cost is 149.99 to run a keeper league on CBS so the team cost is 15.00 a season. Our 2 expansion teams are Detroit & Halifax, both of which need an owner. Also we need an owner for the Alaska Royal Penguins and their roster is listed below. To fill the rosters of Detroit & Halifax we will be holding an expansion drafts once we find owners for the teams. We have fine tuned our scoring system after a very good first season and we are looking to make our league a long- standing one. Why does Detroit even keep Osgood? Is it just in case Hasek gets hurt? The guy could easily be a starter on another team. I kinda feel bad for a guy with 300 wins who has to sit on the bench all season. Even if Hasek retired this season Detroit still wouldn't have started him. I don't understand the point in keeping him why don't the Wings try to get something for him?
