No it won't Sportsnet Pacific in Canada....

I loved my Centre Ice Free Preview, watched hockey every night from first game to last game.... Was awesome to be able to switch over to games that were close or nearing or in OT or shootout, etc... That said I'd never pay $200 a year for it, I don't have HD and I get probably 6 games a week on regular programming with TSN/TSN2/CBC/Sportsnet/NHL-N.... As long as free online streams are accessible they'll do for any other games of interest.

Those jerseys are great, much better than their usual reds... Unreal save, saw it live... too bad it was wasted by losing in a shootout anyway...

I think he just means that he's Canucks' property as opposed to from the Sharks

Maybe you're defintion of "cruise" is different than what I meant to imply... I think Vancouver will "cruise" to the division title in the same way the Wings did last year... Calgary will be on their tail for most of the year but it will be wrapped up before the last bunch of games, just as the Central was. I used to hold Kiprusoff as a top tier goalie in the NHL, along with Luongo, Brodeur, and Lundqvist. I'm just saying that ever since that playoff year he's just not showing me he belongs there. 4 straight first round exits and declining stats during the season (from 2.04 in 2005 to 2.49 to 2.69 to 2.84, not exactly top tier numbers, increased scoring included). It's just a prediction based on my own analysis that the Flames will not be as good as the Canucks will be this year.... For the record I have them in 6th place.
-
Perhaps... I just think the Flames will be a bit worse off than last year, while the Canucks will be better.... You make some good points I didn't consider though (Sutter, Jokinen for the whole season) ... But I think the offense will be worse off and Kipper still hasn't really lived up to the hype after the playoff run, and he'll have another long season considering they don't have a legitimate backup (as you also mentioned)... So I do think the Canucks will gain the lead, not look back, and have it virtually wrapped up with a couple weeks to go.

I'll be watching Habs @ Leafs and then probably Canucks vs Flames.. I say Habs, Bruins, Sharks, Canucks win tonight.
-
As far as Defensive depth they improved... losing Ohlund and adding Ehrhoff, Lukowich, and Schneider Offensively they lost Sundin and added Sameulsson, while young guys like Kesler/Raymond/Burrows/Bernier could continue to get better With a full season of Luongo, I think they're certainly better off than last year and will cruise to the division title...

I have a free preview of centre ice on Bell TV and it's already started, it's been showing some preseason games.....
-
Still bugs me to think about it... simply because the manner in which they lost. Up 2-0 in the series, losing 4 out of the last 5 games... up 3-2 with two chances to end it... The Samuelsson breakaway post, Zetterberg move post, Cleary breakaway stop, etc.... I'm pretty much over it now but every once and a while I get reminded and have that soured feeling....
-
Kovalchuk makes the most sense for me
-
I'm glad there's still a lot of non-roster players in tonight's game... It's on NHL-N Canada and I rarely get to see our prospects
-
Boucher and Raycroft > Cloutier IMO... Pittsburgh has Johnson who I'd probably also take before Cloutier.... New Jersey (Yann Danis), Calgary (McElhinney), San Jose (Greiss) come to mind though.... Good luck to Cloutier in any event.

Nice move for the Leafs immediate future... This makes my season predictions harder I think they'll be a bubble playoff team now but could jump into a spot depending on how the rest of the offense performs...

Heatley traded to Sharks for Michalek, Cheecho, 2nd Round Pick
T-Ruff replied to HELLDOGSbmx's topic in General
But he shone there too? back to back 50 goal seasons followed by 41 in 71 followed by an 39 goal "off" year.... -
I'll be tuning in... Will be great to see some live NHL hockey again
