Who cares... Its just some extra time in the box that these guys like Boogard and Laraque would otherwise be sitting on the bench for.... If they really want to fight this won't stop them, and if they really want to avoid the 10 min game misconduct, they'll skate around for a bit and give each other some taps before dropping the gloves, making it look "non-staged".

I looked it up: only game 2 vs Avs, and game 2 and game 3 vs Preds he was listed as healthy scratch, but there was about 6 other times in between those that list as scratched due to "hamstring" so who knows.... In any event, I don't think Babcock will have a problem benching Maltby in the playoffs (nor should he), and IMO there are better line-ups we can ice....

Did he not get benched last playoffs in a few games?

Best trade was the Sens getting Leclaire and a 2nd round pick for Vermette.... Edmonton did quite well also Worst, most bizarre trade was the Flyers getting Carcillo for Upshall and a 2nd

I think both teams just got better (well Pittsburgh at least)....... Kunitz will suffice as a winger for Crosby and this increases their chances of the playoffs greatly IMO.... Still think the Ducks will miss, and of course I'll still be cheering for Pittsburgh to miss too..... I'm gettin so excited for TD day!

There's nothing "unprofessional" about it, IMO.... Showmanship is a great and important part of sports and competition.... Celebrating like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, or Yzerman is modest and classy, sure... but that's because of the kind of people they are, Ovechkin celebrating every goal as ecstatically as he does doesn't make him any less professional.....

I don't mind the trade... Comrie likes it in Ottawa and IMO there's a good chance he'll re-sign, + they get a young defenseman..... SJ's first round pick might as well be a 2nd round pick and Comrie > McAmmond IMO It's a toss up I'd say
