Panthers beat the Isles on Saturday So would this situation not be allowed?: say someone is still in the game and forgets to make a pick by the Friday games, could they make their pick on a Saturday or Sunday game and still be valid? (or if they forget both Fri and Sat and pick Sunday for that matter)

Now that would be cool I think they're saying that they're technically following the rule, Luongo will not wear the C or 'act' as captain as it pertains to on ice play..... But he is officially their captain... I say since they have apparently found a loophole and have him as their official captain.....why not let him wear the 'C' on his jersey but still restrict his ability to talk to the refs

He was on OTR a few weeks ago before he left for Russia and he really owned up to his attitude and his affect on the team and such.... I think he genuinely will put in an effort to change and make himself a better person and a better athlete..... Certainly we will see him in the NHL again

Exactly.... I was going to say that I'd rather have both Helm and Kopecky in instead of Maltby......

We're not going to be trading Lilja after recently re-signing him.... I would be in favour of Neil completely replacing Maltby in our starting lineup. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Hossa, Holmstrom, Franzen, Filppula, Cleary, Hudler, Samuelsson, Neil, Draper, and Helm/Kopecky could be regulars, with Helm/Kopecky, Maltby, McCarty Downey for depth.....

I don't get it.... the KHL and NHL agreed today to honour each others contracts.....

They'll probably match but I think the point is that it's a 1 year deal and the Canucks might have to fork out more money for him next year.... i.e. if he has a great year playing with the Sedins

My favourite goalie since I started watching hockey to this day, I was ecstatic when he came to the Wings (both times) .....outstanding career, I wish him the best sidenote: IMO its a shame to see that 83% of the votes on the TSN poll have Roy ahead of Hasek.... but this is not the place to discuss this matter
