Agreed. All the while I was hoping Anaheim would fail in the playoffs at any stage, in the back of my mind I wouldn't have minded to see them succeed for an eventual potential matchup vs the Wings.....

The turning point right now has to be Biron's stupid pass along the boards on Crosby's goal to make it 2-2......

In my opinion, the only reason Drake gave his stick to Draper is because Draper was defending down low..... if their positions on the ice were swapped I doubt Drake would toss is stick up to Draper.....

I really don't want to see Crosby and Malkin get any further in the playoffs.... the Canadian media is starting to get on my nerves with their Crosby love..... I'll be cheering the Flyers despite the loss of Timonen greatly decreasing their chances..... The Flyers should keep it rough....Hatcher will continue to get in Crosby's face...

Reffing has been brutal in this game (specifically the third), mostly to the Penguins advantage..... you have to call the high-sticking though..... I really hope the Penguins don't win on the powerplay.....

I don't think "running up the score" had anything to do with impressing Brunnstrom or anybody.... It had to do with the fact that this is the NHL, a professional sport, and while, obviously, you would play your best players less to avoid injury, you don't stop playing just because the other team does..... In my opinion no pro sports team should ever intentionally "slow things down" in that sense...... It was like when Canada's women's national team beat Italy's 16-1 (or something like that) and Italy's coach commended the Canadian coaching staff and players for playing their best to the final whistle so that the Italian team and players could take the full experience and learn from it and use it to make them better in preparation for any future international events.....
