I just cannot see us being able to offer something for weber that other teams can't top. Specially seeing as how Nashville will never trade us a norris caliber dman to begin with. Just pray that suter doesnt get an extension, because he is the realistic option next summer.

The salary wouldn't be a problem, its more of im not sure we have anything the caps want that other teams may provide? Im not even sure what we can offer besides the ever so popular Filppula, kindl and a 1st.

To me it takes Filppula or/sheahan/tatar/pulkinnen, smith, 1st, 2nd/ or hudler. Theyll def use what burns got on the market. Maybe even Franzen, kindl, 3rd. Im not saying I would do these trades, but its not like yandle is a piece of garbage, you gotta actually give up good parts of your team.

I like bogosian, and would def love for the wings to get him. Hes still very young, but Yandle is more established and a safer bet. People think hes a norris candidate in a better market. Plus from what I hear the jets want more then hes worth.

Love yandle, but it probably starts with B.Smith in the trade. Ofcourse wings wouldnt trade big pieces without a new contract already done with yandle.

I wonder if anyone would be willing to give yandle and offersheet. You gotta think since the nhl owns the team they wouldnt be able to match a high offer.

I agree i think some of those desperate teams or teams that need to get to the cap floor are going to send some dumb contracts out there, holland isnt gonna overpay for anyone even if they have the money to do so. Im totally preparing myself for the wings not getting anyone we thought they may, and sadly i think jovo might land here. Which sucks IMO.
