Well, with Forsberg being back and closer than ever I guess its safe to call Nashville our official rivals now, all we need to do is meet them in the playoffs again and it will be on.

We're going to lose tonight. I'm sorry to say it but we're a streaky team and unfortunately this is going to be a losing streak for us, which is ok because this may pressure Kenny into making some good trades that otherwise, as some people believe, he will not have made.

There should be something on the top of these forums that spells out FEDOROV correctly with big bright letters. The guy played for us for 10 years, the issue has been beaten to death and half the people still don't know how to spell his name correctly.

Thats the good news. I don't want us to win the presidents trophy this year. Let Nashville have it. I want us to go into the playoffs as an underdog '97 style Although i'm kind of afraid to play San Jose in the first round...

I have a feeling that samsonov would fit in with the wings perfectly, unfortunately he doesn't address any of the Wings' needs right now except for being a right hand shot. I agree, he used to be a top-notch defenseman during his days in Edmonton. This happens though, its hard to stay on the top in the best league in the world. Talent must be augmented with presistance, dedication and hard work.

Big, strong, skilled, RIGHT HANDED SHOT!! I'm all for it, give up 1st round picks, whatever, just get it done. Its a gamble because i hear he's dickhead, but i think all he needs is strong guidance and boundaries (although he is playing under Hitchcock so that shouldn't be a problem...), a fresh start may do wonders too and if not we can ship him somewhere and try again.
