Well out favourite reject just won the game for Chicago by tieing it and the winning it in the last minute. I know i'm supposed to dislike chicago being a red wing fan but they're fun to watch this season and i kind of like them now. Whos gonna win rookie of the year Toews or Kane?

Barring injuries, i think he has a legitimate shot at it. Lets not forget that last season during the span of the ZDH line being put together and before his injury he was getting more points per game than anybody else. The same thing is happening right now so why not?

What about Kronwall? He's had a "few" defensive lapses in just about every game so far. I know that most of LGW has the blinders on when it come to our "future Lidstrom" but the guy impresses me less and less with every season. And here's another fun fact: Rafalski is a -3 for the season so far and Lidstrom is a +3, what gives?

My friend has had some kind of satellite since 99 and he had it hacked and was getting almost EVERY CHANNEL IN THE COUNTRY. Luckily he is a Wings fans so I used to spend a lot of time over his house watching the Wings on FSN Detroit. Then he and his family moved and i had to deal with ESPN, but then after the lockout i found out about center ice and have been a customer since. The problem this year is that I'm moving on September 28 and i have no idea who the cable provider is at the new house so i don't know what i will be getting.

I'm sorry i should have just said this: "No you're not correct to assume that. If that's going to be the price then its a hefty raise once again due to the American dollar being so weak." I really just wanted to make a point that it sucks because most Americans keep losing money and they don't even realize it.

That's surprising that he would leave his native country and go play in Russia for a little bit more money. I understand if he was gonna make a couple of million doing this, but 800k? Go figure whats going on in his head.

I like ESPN.com I think they do a good job with hockey on that site too. As for the channel, hockey gets no ratings and it is a business first so that's why theres very limited hockey coverage. No real legit reasons to hate espn imo.

This country is going down the drain. All of this needs to stop. Everybody gets sued for everything and that's why insurance premiums are so damn high. I'm talking about ALL INSURANCE premiums including health, workers compensation, professional liability etc... If you're actually trying to quantify this and put it into a dollars per points per game units, of course those sticks are not worth it. Hell, your old street hockey stick (you know the wood shaft with the plastic blade nailed to it) would probably be the most cost efficient stick in those terms. And in my opinion, it probably doesn't make a whole lot of a difference for any player. Its true that Datsyuk didn't produce as much in the beginning of the season and started piling up points when he got the stick. But its not like he didn't produce just as much the season before that with the old 6k. Maybe RBK gave him an X amount of money and told him to slump before he got the O-stick, maybe its the latest marketing technique? That would be scary... Back to the point. Novice players have no business using $200 sticks. They probably SHOULD use a heavier wood stick to build up muscle in their arms. I'm you average beer league player and i use a $100 stick but only because i got it for free. If it breaks I'll go buy a 5030 sherwood. I would never buy a $200 stick unless i didn't care for money and had loads of it then i'd buy the most expensive equipment out there.
