He'll be a good one. Hopefully at the next draft we can turn our 1st rounder into another 2 seconds. We need to build some depth from top to bottom, especially some talented forwards.

If you have a chance to move a 37 year old Schneider, you do it. Especially when he's a free agent after the season. Why the hell would you trade prospects for Biron?? Bringing Legace back would've been smarter. Jonnson would be a hell of a pickup.

A guy can have all the size in the world but if he can't play it doesn't matter.

Kessel still needs to develop but I can see him being a 35-40 goal scorer. I think Johnson and Staal will be the best of the bunch. Toews needs to get stronger.

I think he'd be a good signing and would allow Lebda to play on the top defensive pairing in Grand Rapids.

Hudler is far from slow. He's not a burner but his speed is good enough plus he has a cannon for a shot. He'll either be traded or he'll make the Wings. His days in Grand Rapids are over.

I think the Griffins large attendance figures in it's first 3 years have to do with it being a new franchise in GR and alot of it's residence wanted to see the new product.

Plus Teams like Toronto have alot of holes to fill and I don't think it includes giving someone like Manny a 4 or 5 mil a year contract.

All I have to say is Martin Lapointe. His career took a dump after he left Detroit. How much you wanna bet if he had to do it all over again he would've taken what Detroit was offering and been alot happier here going after Championships every year. If I was the Wings i'd wait until after the playoffs to give Legace a decent contract.

I think Grigs and Hudler will both be in Detroit next year.

I think Legace will stay another year atleast without Detroit having to break the bank. He'll have to choose to take less money and play on a team that has a very good chance at winning the cup each year......or, get more money and play for a team like Toronto, and have a lesser shot at winning a cup. I'll bank on him staying in Detroit. Not everyone is out to get rich every year...look at Shanny's numbers and he's making WELL below market value of a 30-40 goal scorer.
