OK, we've all done well establishing the fact that they are different kinds of players. Next time I'll call the thread Drake vs Lang... who makes the Red Wings better?

Maybe Colorado will be kinda good this year. It might even help rejuvinate the rivalry now that they have a couple decent players besides Sakic. It will be that much sweeter when the wings come here and kick the avs around next season!!

This kid will get some great training at UW. Mike Eaves is an awesome hockey coach and UW has a history of putting out some great defensemen. Hell, Chelios played there! I see nothing but upside for this kid!

The Wings were very close to winning the cup. They were maybe one guy, an unlucky bounce, or a little experience for some of the younger guys away from the cup. Maybe Kenny adds a depth player to fill the spots vacated by Calder and Lang. AND maybe you can get someone who wants to win for a lower number than they would get going to play for Phoenix, Columbus, or some other celler dweller desperate for talent. I think Kenny will make a play, and a good play. If we don't get one of the "big 3," no big deal. The wings are in great shape and will definitely be a contender next season. How many other teams can make that claim?

It seemed to me that Holland labelled certain guys (Dom, Schneids, Chelli) as priorities and hasn't really mentioned anything about the other guys.

The only thing that is making me sicker than watching the Ducks win the cup, full well KNOWING that it should be the Wings hoisting it, is listening to Ed Olczyk commentate.

If read the entire post, you'd see the point of it is that it hurts to see someone else hoisting the cup, and EDDIE OLYCZK IS AN ANNOYING ******.....hopefully it won't take another 12 years for you to figure that out.
