I think Drake is most likely to retire and Chelios the least. I'm conflicted about Hasek. He gave us some hellava good games this season and the Dom/Ozzie show worked great in the regular season. I think that unless Hasek pulls a "Legace" and demands to be #1, he'd be offered another round with the Wings.

Me too!! I checked my rate at the buzzer and it was 122 bpm (resting is 70). After spotting us two games, the Pens got very scary. The last 4 games were one goal affairs. You guys held up well in the end.

Well, it looked like the Baby Pens being up past their bedtimes in Game 5 caught up with them.... and they said it would be the old guys that would be impacted!!! Well, at least the Pen trolls can now crawl back under their rocks!

I believe McGuire said between the benches after Game 4 that McCarty was being quite the cheerleader from the bench and frequently shouting out encouragements to the players on the ice like "Take it to them, boys!!!"

Wooooooooo! Woooooooo! Wooooooooo! (Thanks, I needed that!) I was so nervous after Happy's goal I couldn't watch the game until there was 2 mintues left. It was killing me! I had to leave the room and do some work to take my mind off of the game and listen and hope I didn't hear a distant horn sound with lots of crowd noise.

Hey, I think the national media might actually be noticing the Red Wings finally! I picked up the latest issue of Sports Illustrated to look for the latest multi-page Crosby/Pens article (with an small Wings side-bar article thrown in) like they've had in the two previous issues.... and lo and behold there was a nice big article with lots of pictures of guys in red jerseys entitled "Control Freaks"! I had to do a double-take!

I've been real impressed on the way he's handled himself in the Finals. Skating, hitting, shooting... he's a package deal.

It was funny in the post-game presser when someone asked Babcock about the scratch. He said he found out when he noticed Homer wasn't on the ice for the pre-game warm-up and he asked someone (trainer?) "Where's Tommy?" and he was told "He's not coming!". Holmstrom decided his hamstring was too stiff.

I was at our mall last night and even the pricier places like Footlocker and other sports apparel places were selling WCC stuff. One of them had nice heavy-weight RBK "jersey" T-shirts of several Wings players (Lids, Z, Dats, Franzen, Draper, and Homer) 2 for $30. Arm and leg. It's about the same as buying from NHL.com

JC Penny's actually also has a decent selection. For example, they have the real RBK practice jerseys there for $60. Cheapest place I've ever seen them.
