My 8-year-old goalie simply uses Hasek's name as a verb to describe the move. He'll say to me after a shoot-out drill during his Mite practice "Dad, did you see me Hasek Andrew???"

Hey, guys... There's actually a good game on if you get the NHL Channel. Panthers and Caps tied at 1 after 2. UND and DU are also tied 1-1 after 1 on Fox College. I turned ours off after the first.... I watched this game on Tuesday. I don't need to see it again this week!

I was in the stands... and I appreciate what you're saying.... BUT, I've done a little bit of officiating in my life too and I know that when the outcome of the game will be affected by your call you need to make damn sure that you've got indisputable evidence of the foul before you make the call.

Got home from the K-Wings game about 45 minutes ago. Mac had an "OK" night. They initially credited the Generals' first goal to him, but on later review it was given to another player. The buzz at the arena was that it's expected that a certain Michigan AHL team will add McCarty shortly. Here's a few photos I took from tonight:

Holland was talking with Daniels between periods of the Ducks game. Holland joked that the he's trying to use the fact that the Wings are certainly above average in their "Swedishness" and he'd feel right at home as a selling point.
