It's about a 2 second cut after they show homer on the ice bleeding. He's skating along, says "F__k!", and then grins.
-
Perhaps not a "laugh", but he certainly flashed a nice fecal eating grin seconds afterwards... Watch the ESPN highlights: http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=270515025

Then perhaps Pronger should have thought of that before he tried to knock Homer out of the series! Sorry, but there's no legitimate excuse for the actions he took when he tried to squash Homer head like a grape with his elbow!
-
Shutout!!!!!!
-
It isn't late for me... I'm sitting in a hotel room in Lincoln, NE on a business trip!!!
-
The post-game press conferences should be interesting!!!
-
As of now, my TV audio is at zero and I'm listening to the RW radio stream!!!!
-
And he's pissed!!!!!
-
In a nutshell.... "We need to stay in the game and keep out of the box!"
-
I agree... use the intermission to get their heads back together and focus on putting the Ducks back on their heals. The Draper interview was nice just now.
-
Not as much as his "the Ducks are just being a physical team" BS!!!
-
I think you're right. This sucks....
-
They sandwiched him on the glass with elbows to the head!!!
-
Cry me a river, Pronger!
-
Let's just hope that Homer didn't get a concussion... He looked way too glassy eyed as they were attending to him.
-
Cry "havoc!" and let slip Bert!!!
-
This means war!!!

I don't think the local economy has as much to do with it as the $$$ they charge for the playoff tickets. My wife gives me enough grief about the cost of going to regular season games!

Per HockeyDB, it appears no one had #96 that season: HockeyDB Link In addition, the Red Wings media guide lists Homer as the only wearer of #96 in the team's history. Ironically, the most used number in Wings history is... #15!!! From the media guide Holmstrom started the 97-98 season as #15 and then switched to #96. It also appears that Dmitri Mironov brought #15 with him to Detroit from Anaheim mid-season. It would seem that Homer's move was to allow Mironov to keep his number.
-
I hereby second the motion!!!

We're DOOMED, I tell ya! We're DOOMED!!!
-
Funny... but didn't Homer wear #15 his first season with the Wings???
-
Man this is deja vu all over again. "Well, you might have gotten lucky with the Flames, but we got this dude named Thorton and he's gonna..." Look, both the Wings and Ducks are great teams. Let's hope for a great and a safe series and leave it at that... Good luck, and drop the puck!

Or as Bo Schembechler said after watching a kid go spaz in the end zone after a TD: "Act like you've been there before!"

Nice to see that the Ducks have been given the Melrose "kiss of death"!
