Dom! Crease! STAY!!! Good boy!
-
Thanks... And I'll return the same (in the sense that I hope for a nice safe and clean game for both sides)! But... WINGS IN SIX!!!
-
I joined last season and opted NOT to renew after the end of the year. The content is much better here, the boards are a lot more active here, and the regular ticket pre-sale "benefit" was a joke this season (I got better seats in the general public sale). Save your dough!

The only worse ones are the ones I had for my first Red Wings game ever: Row 27!!!
-
The only bone I had to pick was the phantom Goaltender Interference call on my boy Homer in late the first!

That site also reveals something else about the aircraft... Olympia Ent. doesn't own it, they're leasing it. The owner is listed as PROVIDENT BANK (CINCINNATI OH).

I agree he was very much a net positive, but if I'm not mistaken he did have one big "Ah, $#@&!!!" last night when he let Iggy move in front of the net unmolested for the sole Flames goal last night.

I had to go to bed after the 2nd last night, but I wanted to add that I think Samuelsson deserves some praise for Game 6. I noticed he had great take-aways right in front of our net and did a great job breaking up that one 2-1 situation.

I agree! I thought that angle, used in that manner, was VERY disorienting and made it impossible to follow the play.
-
Yep... we can relate! That's for sure!

Game 3 will be a "turning point" either way. The result will be either "Game Over" (I hope), or "Whole New Ball Game"!
-
They are Row 24+ on the ends. They are obstructed seating. If you want a chance to see the whole ice surface, you have to stand in the last couple of rows. Think of them as "standing room in the top row" tickets.
-
Wow, for the Dallas players, the end of the game would have felt like 2:32 AM!!! Can you imagine skating up and down the ice for over 5 hours at 2:30 in the morning!!!
-
Sharks win! Yes!

I'm sticking to the SJ audio stream.

Here's a great read... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/sto...ge=swiftcurrent

Yep, I see decent near-center ice upper bowl tickets on the Hub going for below regular season ticket prices!!!! It looks like the speculators are going to take a bath!

Where art thou, yonder Hank?!?!?!

I think it's worth commenting on the rather confusing wording on the OlyEnt web site linked to above. The signs leading into The Joe only mention the 80mm (focal length) limit. Last season the signs read "54mm", but were changed for this year. This restriction, as is the case at most venues, is to help cut down on people taking pro quality images at games and then selling unlicensed "boot-leg" player photos. In reading the "54mm" portion of the policy above, as relating to only to detachable lenses, I assume this represents the physical length of the lens (not the focal length, as printed on the lens) and is aimed at keeping out potential thrown projectiles. There's logical reason to differeniate between a "fixed" 70mm lens and one that's used on an SLR. The bottom line, from my practical experience, if your lens is under 80mm focal length, you're good to go.

The first rule of business is "Everything is negotiable!"

Ooooh, did you have to go and say that?!?!?!

In most sports, the tie-breaker of last resort is the old "coin flip".
-
Because a lot of season ticket holders don't buy playoff tickets. Therefore the available pool of tickets is a lot larger than the regular season. The other thing is the $$$. There are a lot of people like me that, for the prices charged, are content to watch from home.

I think the only thing that Babcock has said is it'll be sometime "this week".

Actually, I was referring to the game last season, IIRC, that was an exact repeat of tonight's game... The Wings had a three goal lead against the Stars and decided to "play not to lose" in the 3rd and ended up losing in OT. Tonight was deja vu all over again! Correction: It was Columbus...
