Ugh, great game for me to go to. I had high hopes for the game but the Wings just played flat out terrible! They came out hot but Conklin wasn't haing a great night and we could get anything past Fernandez. Granted we hit a couple posts, but definitely not enough GOOD opportunities... Really need to pull it together against quality teams.

Tomorrow I will be attending my first ever Red Wings game! I am extremely excited and I have been looking forward to this day for months. Never did I expect it was going to be such a good game when I looked at the schedule at the beginning of the year. However, I'm looking for advice. The game starts at 7, what time would I have to get there in order to see the warm ups before the game. Being my first Red Wings game, let a lone first Regular Season NHL game. I want to go all out. So what time would be best to get to the Garden? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, any other LGWers going to be at the game? Lets Go Wings, take it to the Bruins!

Yeah, sorry for not mentioning that the game is in Boston. Guess not everyone has the schedule down pat

I love our goaltending duo. I've always loved Ozzie, and I became a fan of Conk over last year when I picked him up in Fantasy when he took over for Fluery when he was on fire and barely let a thing past him.

Good game to watch. Malts with the goal in the begining was great. Then Lebda scoring! Haha, what a night. Huds had a rocket as well. Good game boys!

They really are pushing this new style of Jerseys. If they really wanted people to be pleased with them. They should have done a retro-esque jersey for the all star game. It is the Canadien's 100th after all. Not horrible, but I don't think the jerseys do the Canadiens any justice. Like people have said, looks like Columbus is hosting the ASG this year.

Would be a sweet if Nick got the Sportsman of the Year honor. However, doubtful. Considering, the NHL rarely gets an article longer than 3 pages, or even a cover, let alone sportsman of the year honors.

I miss parts of him..okay that sounds weird... I miss his style of play, always entertaining to watch. I miss holding my breathe every time he left the net in fear of him screwing something up . And I also miss him taking a dive every time the little bit of contact was made with him and another player. For the most part I'm glad we have moved on from him though. It was time.

I loved it how in the TB broadcast, one of the commentators talks about how Holmstrom is the only one that gets away with not being called on goalies interference. Then talks about how he is suprised that more teams don't try to put a man in front of the net. ...contradiction, maybe? Pretty good game. Once TB got 3 men in the box I could tell the game was going to be ours. Great pass by Z to the Mule. Beauty of a goal. Here's to the momentum carrying into tomorrow.

Us Wings fans are just very jaded. We are used to winning. And when we are not people tend to worry. Well, the game is only 1/3 of the way over. I think the Wings can pull it out. They just have to play alot better.

He says that the Ducks were exciting because they were hard-nosed. Just because a team is hard-nosed and is going to get in a fight just about every game. Does not make it entertaining. To a point, yes, however, calling teams that don't fight boring is...well... It sounds like someone who has no love for hockey at all. And is payed to write s***ty articles.

I still think that Shanny is an excellent point producer, even if he is getting a bit old. I think he'll have a new home in a short time. One team will budge, whether the Flyers or not. I don't think Flyers fan should be complaining either. At 4-5-3 they could use some help.

I would think that they'll tweak the logo as slightly as possible in order to abide by the rules but still keep the same look. Dumb rule, I for one love that logo and I'm American

It's good for Gabby to go to a team that is destined to miss the playoffs. He can't perform when Spring roles around anyways.
