That is a great pic indeed. Same one I used in my av.

Good win by the Wings. We needed that one to get ourselves headed back in the right direction. Would have liked to see a 2 goal win or even a game with less than 20 million penalties against. I agree, that the "hold" on Kronwall was completely phantom. Go Wings!

When he was on the Sound Tigers...not, recently though.

Stay on topic. There are already like 5 other threads discussing the Wings penalty woes.

That is actually a really cool site. With a ton of shoot out videos.
-
Except for the fact people have been saying that for the past 3 years.

As someone who has to rely on these streams. Hockeystreams.com is VERY good. The quality is great for the price. A very good investment.

for anyone that is watching the ducks broadcast

Hated the camera angles! The announcers are annoying, however, like HRW said, there are much worse. -
I hate the Ducks. Atleast we get a point boys. For a game we could have gotten none.

Win is a win. Good game played by the Wings 7-1-1, not bad at all! Hossa once again really playing hard and I'm loving it. Great shot by Filp to tie the game up.

Palin is ruining my fantasy team.. Then again..Legace does play for the Blues

What a hockey player! Hossa with the quick flick of the wrist. Beautiful. Ever since his 300th he has been HOT HOT HOT

I love these types of photo galleries! Sweet seeing all the masks up close and personal. Good post.

Good thing no one took my bet.. This is great news though! A legit throw back logo. Can't wait to see it.

I'm sorry, I don't. I was 7 at the time.

Wow, I had no idea Slava Kozlov was an ex-Wing and won the Cup with us in '97-'98. I feel so young. Anyways, should be a good game. Hoping the Wings can take this game and continue their winning ways. I'm hoping for a win that is more than 1 goal. Lets hold a lead boys!

$10 says it looks exactly like our regular away jerseys with the stripe moved up 1 inch. Detroit is always so creative. I want a Throwback Logo!

Lids wasn't down deep looking for the pass. The puck had been shot from the right side of the ice. It had been deflected to the left side of the ice fairly deep. Lids went down to get and when he passed back to the point it was deflected and the Blue got possession. In my mind it was a poor pass by Lidstrom that led to the goal.

Haha, I loved that article. Bucci is great. And I must say I'm happy with the increase in fighting. Not because I'm one of those NHL fans that screams for a fight every time two players jaw at each other. Because I think it is very much part of the game that shouldn't be lost. Regardless of whether the Wings do it or not. It needs to be kept in the league and the increase since the lockout is wonderful news. Keep the Fight alive!

Haha, Duck Guy has the right to be claiming the sky is falling. Not the Wings

Sorry dude, I was just saying. I didn't mean to get you worked up.

I'll take your word for it, however, this is what I have found: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0412183/plotsummary 1995 + 9 = 2004 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHL_2Night Canceled 2004.
-
NHL2Night was cancelled in 2004 when the contract was done with ESPN.
-
What you don't understand is that the reason that ESPN doesn't pay as much attention to the NHL is because ESPN has no contract with the NHL. They are not required to have great coverage of the league. When you turn on SportsCenter you get tons of coverage from the NBA (way too much in my opinion), NASCAR, and every other sport. But the reason you don't see the NHL is because these other leagues are paying them to get coverage. While the NHL is not. Can you blame ESPN for having more coverage of the leagues that they have contracts with? No, that's business. Period.

Very exciting game. Just finished watching it as I didn't have time to watch the game last night. It was killing me all day not to come here and check out the boards! A much needed win for the Wings, however, it was still a very sloppily played game and the Wings need to tighten things up even more so. Like the chemistry with Dats and Hossa. Congrats to Hossa on his 300th and first as a Wing. Here's to many more!
