I've been saying this was going to happen for the past 2 years. It was going to happen, and even with the contract they have with Versus, ESPN will start showing hockey again with the next year. Also, it's whats best for the league. Love or hate ESPN, it's what the NHL needs.

I do think you have a point, however, I also believe that DiPietro is one of the top 15 in the league. He posts decent numbers playing for a crappy team and he's very fundamentally sound. Ever since he was with the Sound Tigers I've seen it. He can get it done. That is why he is ranked so high with so many people. If the Islanders were going somewhere for once, it would be a different story.

Good game played by the Leafs. They capatilized on some of our dumb mistakes. Red Wings showed glimpses of good play, however, really over all did not play at all.
