I still can't believe that Dubielewicz signed with Ak Bars. I loved him when he played for the Sound Tigers, and briefly when he actually played with the Islanders. Sad to see him leave.

This is a shame. I really don't see how he'll be able to stay with us now. I always thought that Howard would be our goalie for the future, but now it looks like Conklin and Osgood are going to be the only goalies playing for this upcoming season. I don't think it would be smart for the Red Wings to match that anyways. Is Howard worth that much money to us? Also sucks that he is going to a division rival. Oh well...

I say bring hockey back to Connecticut. So move whatever lame southern team back here.

2008 - This is my favorite Stanley Cup Victory by far. I know '97 was a great victory for the Wings. However, being that I was 7 years old at the time of this victory I wasn't in to it all that much I was a Wings fan, and I remember being happy and cutting out the newspaper article. But like I said 7 years old, wasn't watching every minute like I am now. 2002 - Kind of the same reasoning as above, watched every minute of the finals and really enjoyed the victory. '97 & '98 - Putting these together, because at the time. Not something that was monumental at my age. I was still a Wings fan, but at 7 and 8..things are just different.

They have both been class act guys. When Hasek was starting Ozzie never whined. And vice versa. It's been a great situation. Hasek has been a great goalie for our organization.

It was there for us. We just couldn't finish out the game, the opportunities were there.. I am shell shocked just as much as the next person.
