I know, I know! I honestly did not think about retirees at all though! I'm sorry! Throw me in the mud and stick a Nashville Predators logo on my head! It'll never happen again!

Hockey season is so far away....
-
I was going through all the Current wings #'s and the retired numbers totally slipped my mind. :judge: D'oh!
-
I'd go with #10, considering that is what he wore last season with the Blues.
-
I honeslty, don't think it was a bad signing. I know a lot of you are saying he has very poor offensive skills, but he's coming into a puck possession team. Hopefully, just by playing with some of our guys he will be able to produce the numbers that we need and be able to through his body around while he does it. Pretty good signing.
-
Sorry, he is only middle of the line. He is tested. Apologies The point I was trying to make was that CuJo had never shown he could carry a team to the cup.
-
Nero is a good burner. ..the program not the guy who burned Rome
-
What is with the Red Wings and shopping for middle of the line goalies that aren't tested. First CuJo, now this? Sure Raycroft has talent and potential. But aren't the Wings trying to win a Stanley Cup now, not in 3 years when Raycroft is a vet. I honestly, don't know that much about Raycroft, but as our starter I don't think it would be the wisest of moves.

Who will challenge the Wings for Central title?
DyingAlive replied to Bert44Wingsfan's topic in General
If the Wings are the only decent team in our division, IMO, it will hurt us greatly. We will not be battle tested for the playoffs. I will not stand for another poor playoff performance. This past season was great, we only can build on it. Not go backwards. -
All it is, is two FA signings. Bert wasn't even a real factor he played for us for two months. Personally, I hate the Ducks, but unless the future has something in store for us. We are no rivalry.

My dad is a diehard Sabres fan. Let's just say he wasn't extremely thrilled.
-
Couldn't be more displeased at his choice of teams. Talk about a traitor to the wings.

I started playing hockey like on a "team" when I was 5 years old. From then on I played every year until I was 13. I then stopped because after that my school did not have a team and my mother wanted me to put more time into basketball so I could play it in high-school. (Sadly, my small private school has no hockey team.) I must say I miss playing it very much. Every time I go to local high school games, I just think about how that could be me out there. Very hard, however, at this point I am very dedicated to basketball. I hope to pick up hockey once I go into college.
-
Yeah, that is also true. But I like his name just because it is my name as well.
-
I like their pick already, he has a great first name.
-
Haha yeah, that is clearly this years draft. What are you talking about?
-
I like that shoulder logo as a sholder patch, it looks good. They actually aren't that bad, take awhile to get used to. Any pictures of their away jersey?
-
I really don't see this being a factor at all. I mean, how often does someone get a clear break away before they have crossed the red line?

Well, I'm not sure about these forums, but other forums that I visit do have bots that reply in existing threads. I'm just saying this may not solve the spam problems altogether.

Its a good idea to get rid of the bots, however, spam bots can post in already existing threads.

I think it's an awful idea for two reasons. 1) Your giving Nashville only 8 years to set up a franchise. They don't prosper right away and you want to ship them off to another town. The community around the Preds has grown dramatically. You can't say there are not die hards in Nashville, yes, maybe Hamilton has more hockey fans, but I'll discuss that in my next point. I say give Nashville an even decade. Not this bulls*** threat stuff. Of course your fans are going to ditch when they know the team is moving. 2) Hamilton is way to close to both Toronto and Buffalo, does Basille really think he is going to get a strong fan base? No way are true Maple Leaf fans going to ditch their team for some new franchise, it is strategically, way to close to Toronto. The Maple Leafs are a proud franchise, whether they are winning or not. It's not a bright move to move right on the outskirts of them. Realistically, I think it's a bad location for a new team. I do however, think that Canada needs another team, eventually.

Why would the Sharks get rid of Marleau? And how can the Sharks trade for Drury when hes an unrestricted free-agent?
-
Please God, no!

For people asking about the Wings jerseys and such; absolutely nothing has been anounced for any team. Everything is just speculation right now. Alot of the jerseys will be seen around draft day.
