...ahh STFU kiddding...its great if other fans stay brings more than one opinion into things.

As much as people hate new logos and what not. It really interests me. I mean sure they are not always good. Like the Ducks new logo blows. But like you two, it excites me too.

Happy Anniversary, though I vaguely remember the time (since I was 7) I remember watching bits of the game vs. the Flyers.
-
It's too early to tell about Goodell, he's only been in the NFL for 1 year.
-
This final is aweful. The Sens are being outplayed badly.
-
Hopefully Luc can do some work that puts the franchise in the right direction. I miss seeing that team in the playoffs.

Do you think we could bring back Mike Vernon?

I wish all my favorite teams had boards like these! I love this site and all my thanks goes to Matt and the rest of the stafff!

I'm not sure why you Duck fans come into this thread expecting praise. You surely won't get it. We are die hard fans here. We don't take losses easily, if you don't want to see us complain about "BS Calls, oversized pads, cheap shots" Then you should be avoiding the topic. I'm not saying I am condoning it, but we are die hards, you would act the same way.

If the third period was never played I can say I would have been furious. The Wings came out and played aweful. Like they wanted to go home. The third period however, they executed and played well. Still depressed that our season is over and it will take awhile for this pain to subside, but all in all. It was a good season. It may not have been what we were looking for, but still is no season to hang our head in shame. We just need to work on capatalizing.... Go Sens!

I hope this funk I'm in wears off by tomorrow. I'm totally depressed from this loss.

Wow, talk about impressive. Well done man. Great site and very professional and pleasing to the eye.

That game made me sick... The last minute of the game and into overtime was the worst 30 mins of my life. The domination and the motivation we had in the 3rd period. We were taking bodies and punishing. Just to see a fluke bounce that lands perfectly in the net. Then to see Lilja fan on a pass and watch Teemu score. There are 3 players on the team that I didn't want to score. Pronger, Scotty, and Teemu... GO WINGS!! We will win Game 6 and 7. ..I've lost my appetite

Though, I like your format, I think having the Western teams playing their division 10 times a season is RIDCULOUS. People complain about 8 being too much. However, I do love your Great Lakes Division

This was posted a last week sometime. But it sure is a pretty cool stat.

I'd say 1996-7. I was still young at the time only 7 and being young it's hard to have a favorite. But I remember the Wings beating the Flyers in the finals and that was at a time I was rooting for them. So I'm thinking the begining of the 1997 season was when I started liking them.

Look at it this way. Cups with Hasek - 1 (2002) Cups with Osgood - 1 (1998) Most recent: Hasek I am a big Osgood fan, I love the guy. But I think Hasek has more ability to lead us to a cup.

As far as furthest east, Columbus and Detroit are basically almost equal. If you look at a map Detroit is basically north of Columbus a couple hundred miles.
-
I think the Wings are the better team. They show signs at certain points that they can take control of the series. They just need to keep playing their game. Lopsided shot totals
-
Poor Buffalo Go Sabres! Do the unthinkable!!
-
Could have been a big momentum game, however, no one thought Detroit could just walk in like this. Look on the brightside. Detroit's goals were all very nice goals. Ducks, on the other hand, had one or two fluke goals. The talent is going to remain for the Wings, your not always going to get the good bounce.

I was most likely at my house watching the game on TV. I was only 12 at the time, so it's a little hard to remember exactly, but I do remember the game a bit and the lop sided score.
