I agree, he is really played his heart out on the defensive and offensive side of the puck, more so than many players. He's always been a classy guy, and I'm glad we have him signed long term!

It's true that he did not show up this series at all. Which was surprising more than anything, but everyone is bantering for him to be gone next season. Why? He is a 40 goal scorer, ya, your right who cares. But he is a talented player. Unless the organization is displeased with his effort I see no reason to just let him out for a poor series performance.

Ugly game, 2 chippy goals by Pens and a decent goal by Drapes. Wings played terrible to be honest, they came out flat stayed flat and really couldn't get any sustained pressure. Ugh, lets hope the home crowd gets behind the team and motivates them to play hard. Lets Go Wings, we can't let up.

Relax on his tie, he was not talking all about Pitt, he was talking about Dats and said how he thought Detroit would close it out. Some people are so extra sensitive to anything negative about the Wings, relax.

Nothing is wrong with him, they took him out so he wouldn't get banged up with Chicago playing chippy.

He did redeem himself pretty well. To be honest I was pretty mad that he threw that puck right at the Chicago D-men on that penalty kill that led to their first goal. Way to make up for your mistakes Sammy!

I like how they don't try to keep it simple for their fanbase. They don't try to over complicate things with a fancy logo. The wordmark keeps its simple!
