Odd. While it is Eklund..it still is a spark for conversation. However, in my opinion. Our goaltending is not that much of an issue. While yes, Ozzie hasn't been great. Conklin has looked stellar at points with only the occasional meltdown. Does anyone honestly think that Holland would make a deal at the deadline for a goalie?!

Well, I guess we are getting a nice variety of looks at our prospects now. While I love having Downey up, it's not a bad thing having Abs up in the long run.

Aren't they going to have to bench someone in order for Leino to play? Z said he'd be back on Sat so the lines would look like this: Homer - Dats - Hossa Franzen - Z - Huds Cleary - Filp - Samuelson Maltby - Draper - Leino Or something of that nature. Which leaves out Kop and Downey.

The Wings have no chance to get any kind of flow going. They've been in the box too many times and Dallas just is picking them off when they get the opportunities. This reminds me of the beginning of the year with all these penalties.

Sounds good. While you hate to see someone like Stuart out for awhile. It's never bad to get to a look at some young guns. Oh and having Downey up is awesome as well

Is Ozzie really playing again? I guess it would be smart to save Conklin for the Caps.

The greater question is will he even be playing? While he's on the roster come Feb 25th who can say if he'll be playing. As well as D-Mac. Even if he is healthy by then. I doubt Babcock will have him play just because Lemieux is playing. Well, I'm sure he'll get plenty of boos if he makes it to the ice. Here's hoping Kronner or Stuart steps up on him.

Definitely clever stuff. Whether it works great or just minimally it's a pretty sweet idea. I wish the article would have given more pictures than just his blocker though. I want to see him in the net to see if works!

Well, to look on the brightside of things..Will anyone from GR be called up for the game? With 2 defenseman and 2 forwards out for our next game. You would think that we would need to call up atleast 1 forward for the game. Thoughts?

You can't assume anything about the playoffs. For all we know Boston could tank and lose to the 7 or 8 seed. San Jose could lose in the second round..that wouldn't be anything new. The road to the Stanley Cup is impossible to predict, because the playoffs can be so unpredictable. We won't know the Wings road until we get there.

You would think that the NHL would have a team that can actually score test the nets.

How is it that we have no representation? Who picks the replacements? While I don't mind seeing our team getting rest. How is it that Hossa did not get the bid for a replacement? Considering every team needs representation. The way the NHL works sometimes is so stupid.

Hard fought game, fun one to watch. But they were out of for a lot of the night. Should have had the game, but 1 point is horrible.

I love how Conks decided to give us a flashback to the days of Hasek Great play though, really a frantic couple seconds. Good game all around, even better cause my father is a Sabres fan.

Fan vote is stupid. But congrats to Lids and Pav. While I disagree with a lot of the selections, it'll still be a fun event to watch. Well, atleast the skills comp.

My first reaction is that this is disgusting and a really no class move. However, it's understandable TO A POINT if Peters was sticking his hand in his face. Regardless, it should have never even came close to what happened. It's despicable to think that he put his teeth and clenched on his hand, regardless of what was happening.

Hartford is always a talented team. I really wish Grand Rapids would play Bridgeport in Bridgeport. I would ****** up those tickets for sure.
