I don't think Inter was saying the WINGS should have signed these guys at all, I think he was simply wondering why NO team had signed them , if nothing more than a serviceable back up.....

That would be awesome, fights in an all-star game ! I remember the 1st ever non-Wings game I watched was back in 85 between Chicago and Toronto. A Hawks player ran Toronto's goalie and the was a bench clearing brawl. Ahh the days... I say we ban all fighting penalties except the roughing, 5 minute major, and game misconduct, anything else buh-bye. Hank, everytime you post your Avatar makes me chuckle, I love that movie!

Sounds good, unfortunately poor Gordie is too old to be Commish, I say dangle MEGA-BUCKS in front of Paul Tagliabue (former-NFL) to fix what's broken. scheduling ideas-- spot on! 28 teams nix Nashville , Florida, move Phoenix and Anahiem to Seattle( or Vegas) and Hamilton. Realign divisions (non-geographical) bring back Wales and Campbell conferences.

I would LOVE to see the Hawks be a decent team again, and have a LEGITE O6 rivalry again!
