Hmmm, interesting I can see Gretzky and Orr being justifiably ahead of Howe, but not so much Lemeuix, maybe if he had been healthy his whole career...oh well, it's all opinion anyway... -

Thanks! I put him on there for my son, Iron Man is his favorite. I let him watch that Punsiher movie ( the good one with Thomas Jane ), and thourghly got ripped a new one by the Mrs. , I guess it IS a bit much for an 11 year old. PS- sorry about the Titans being in such a killer division too! But Wild Card may NOT be out of the question!

That's a great point, that was really a good game for him. I think that just re-inforces the rust theory. He has "moments" but can't seem to string any consistent play together, the longer the playoffs go, I'm confident the better he will get. And THEN all of the nay-sayers will have to go back to complaining about Dats, or Zetts, of Hasek, or Lang, etc..

All of the above for sure, plus if we want the NHL to ever got off stupid freakin' Versus, this series would go a long way to helping the NHL back to TV respectability! -

I could be WAY wrong here, and if I am please feel free to bash me, but I thought I heard a while ago that a player has to play 42 regular season games or 8 playoff games, for goalies I think it's something like 20 reg, 1 PO. Totally not sure on that though... -

Wow this thread really caught fire! C'mon seriously 7 points in 10 games, 4 goals, one of which is a big time clutch game winner. I don't understand some people in here sometimes, way too much glass half empty. If Datsyuk had 6 more points and led all NHL playoff scorers ( i think Gomez currently leads at 12 ), but all 13 points came at home, would people STILL be complaining about lack of production? seriously?

The Pain Train playing spectacular in the playoffs..... Datsyuk 4 goals in 10 playoff games...... Lang saves the day with a HUGE goal..... The Wings not eliminated before May..... I believe these are 4 of the seven signs of the apocolypse, WHAT'S NEXT? I'm ssssscared!

That is one thing I have always liked about Hasek, his excitement level after a really big win, I remember him jumping up and down on his skates when we beat Carolina in 02
